With the cost of mining drone II's going through the floor then I think this is the ideal time for me to take that low-profit bpo off of your hands ;).. Seeing as how it makes 275m~ a month then I would be willing to pay 1.1 bil for this print (4 months +)
If your looking to sell your mining drone II bpo then I am offering 1.1b for it.. Evemail me in game if interested.. Regards Deo

Fair enough, about 20 bpo's out there and I am sure that more than 1 bpo owner will see reason to sell their BPO..

You wouldn't be so eager to buy it if it sucked.

So your saying I know some hidden, special thing.. that's going to keep the current owners rolling in their "shall we say ****" isk after another 10/15 of these bpo's come into the market..
Now that's an interesting thought.. MayB I just want one, I know it's cheap and affordable, I know that it's something that will probably never be useless even when it's of a exceptionally low value..
But hey.. Sure you "and some of those other guys out there who own the bpo" keep sitting around and thinking it's worth 15b..

Lol Probably 100 or more people would pay 1.5 bil for the BPO so what makes you so special. Like his previous post for the Heavy Missile Launcher II BPO you are just trying to scam some poor newbie off who doesnt know the value of T2 blueprints.

well, the heavy launcher II price has a base so low for another reason, and CCP cant decide if it's a bug or a feature.. But as long as Arbs are better than heavy II's then heavy II's are not going to be a valuable part of the game.. Heavy launcher II's get a ROF bonus because of the skill requirement, but all heavy launchers get the same ROF bonus. So arbs (holding less, but requiring a lot less fitting) are probably going to be better for pvp. These launcher II's are not selling at all and to be honest it's people like you who get a newb into hoping that their t2 bpo's are worth billions and billions..
I do offer to anyone some simple guides to check the value of their bpo
Profit per unit * Sales per week * (set amount of time in weeks that you wish to pay back that bpo) = what you think the bpo is worth..
Now that doesnt work for every bpo.. But I feel it works perfectly fine for bpo's where their sales per week is far less than their production per week..
product that sells out as soon as it's made is worth much more.. Your not sitting idle on product, Isk is continually churning (in and out) and it's a high demand item meaning that the bpo will also be a high demand bpo..
And you say you know plenty of guys who will pay 1.5b for mining drone II bpo.. I say that's really good.. we need more players in the game who dont understand the basics of math (I myself dont do well with english)..
I guess it's a bit like this.. If you know a guy who really wants that bpo for 1.5b then let him buy it.. after he builds 27,000 of them and shifts them then he'll be in the good..
Me.. I just want the bpo enough to offer more than what I think it's worth..
You.. You just dont know better.

That's all good but if you look at most of the BPOs sold on the forums these days, based on profit per unit * sales per week they generally come out with a 9 month to a year payback. Whether thats the correct way of valueing the BPO I dont know but as it is what people are prepared to pay, it makes a good basis for what a BPO should be worth. So how you figure out the value of a BPO using 4 weeks profit I have no idea. Using the forum T2 Auction to go with your figures (say with 50% diminishing profit after 3 months) and you get 12*275 mil +24*137.5 mil (+16*137.5 for the upper range) = 6.6-8.8 bil which is probably about right.

I used 4 months.. 275m a month is what it makes 68.8 a week is close enough.. using your math .. it's (12*68.8) & (24*34.4) & (16*34.4) or like 1.66 - 2.2b .. I personally dont wish to put 9-12 months down as the time I want to need to repay a bpo..
But I do thank you for offering the first valid point that this bpo is worth 1.66b if you base the value on 9 months of production where you have 100% sales (and my quote is based on 100% sales too and we both know that's not going to happen)

Sorry I thought you meant 275 mil per week and was giving you the benefit of the doubt considering you currently get a lot more. Using 68.8 mil per week for a BPO which currently makes almost 500 mil per week is a bit of a flawed. So there is no point me continueing. I am assuming for your next point you will be stating that a Deimos BPO makes 125 mil per week.

Your a componet reseller for bertie right..? .. i am sure that puts your profit up some.. The price for these have been 250,000 on escrow as of late.. seems to be 1 guy who produces all week and then list all of his kit on friday/saturday (guess he's going around the tax/broker fee).. Anyhow I am making the build cost out to be about 130k (give or take 15k) you can make 86.5 every day before blueprint research is done.. so that's only 1728/day that needs to move to keep the markets churning (as long as the bpo's dont have prod time research)..
So am I missing something?

It doesnt make 500m/week ;).. If you think it does then your wrong..
and the Deimos "as I said earlier" fits into that 100% of product sold so high demand bpo & high demand item & higher than pay off cost of bpo..
You know what they say about assumptions tho right..

Yes you are And you're making several assumptions/estimations that range from exaggerated to just plain wrong.
A) The BP researched to PE3 (just a few hours research) makes 120 units a day B) Build cost of the unit is 90k, using Bertie's Comp Shop SELL prices and npc price on all trade goods C) I've never seen any as cheap as 250k, and am selling everything I can build for a LOT more than that
So 840 units/week - lets assume you only sell 600 of them... 500k pu - I truly think this price is sustainable as 75% of miners don't even have the skill trained yet... equals 600*410k = nearly 250m profit/week, selling lessing than 75% of the max output.
1.5b for a 250m/week BP? Like I said I'll double your price and take 2 please...

and what about max run BPcs?
While I cant afford a very much wanted BPO, I would however be intrested in BPCs of small and meduim T2 drones.
