Anyone think its time new T1 ships were introduced? we currently have frigs an cruisers that require lvl 1/2/3 skills to fly and specialised ships af's hac's ect that are a lot more skill intensive to fly, does anyone else think its time we had a sort of halfway house type of ship that only requires lvl4/lvl5 frig/cruiser skills without all the secondary skills?

i think New T1 ships are needed, first tier 3 BS, then tier 2 BC and destroyers before any more T2 ships are released

while destroyers an bc's do have their place they also have massive disadvantages compared to frigs and cruisers such as agility, speed, sig radius ect

There could be other classes introduced that cannot be built up from the existing hulls.
1) Strike Carrier (+1 lite drone of space to drone cargo per level, and use of course, much like how industrials get cargo bonus per level) 2) Siege Cruiser (ability to mount the eqivalent of 4 L guns or missle launchers) 3) Ore cruiser (+1 mining drone of space to drone cargo per level, and use of course) 4) Fast Cruiser (limited hi slots but more low slot and/or higher base speed) TotensBurntCorpse Likes EVE, Starfleet Command Series, Earth & Beyond, Anything Battlefield, MOHAA, Call of Duty.

Call me crazy, but i think but i think the jovian technology should become available...No offence to the DEV's but to be honest we have all heard the "plan to release the jovian race soon" speach. But really? we need new items, it gets boring seeing kestral kestral kestral...rifter incursus incursus tristan....(need i say it) Badger badger badger badger badger badger badger. Lets have some new Ships.....some thing as individual as out own portraits.

No. CCP need to make the T1 ships we have worth while. Most of them aren't worth reprocessing.

When was the last time A dev said "soon" on jove?
Personaly I've never heard them say it. I think it would take so much work that it's been pushed to kali at the earliest. _ ____ _______ _________________________________________________________

jove stuff isnt even on the drawing board. However I really think they should look alot more into making the mk2 project worthwhile. At least make each ship have a useful role within its class. I'm a minnie pilot so from my viewpoint Ie: tempest vs typhoon , the only thing the phoon can do better is armor tank. The phoon has a role, but unlike the domi, scorp or arma, it is VERY limited. The bellicose too is a cruiser that has fallen by the wayside. Mining = scythe, Close range combat/cheap hardened tackler = stabber , Med/Long range firepower = rupture. The bellicose just fell by the wayside. For frigs this problem is alot worse across the board. Hopefully the mk2 project will help with this, but it will be hell to balance aftewards heh.

- Add Tier 2 destroyers and guive them a decent role... tier 2 dessys should have same high slots but increased PG/CPU, also different bonuses for both Tier1 and 2. - Add Tier 2 BC's, (make gallente a drone carrier?)
IMHO there is no need for new ship classes, just a litle change in current roles/bonuses for some ships. The MK2 project seems ok... and tbh haven't looked at new elite ships Oh, and unnerf caldari a bit ;)

I don't see Jove ever being a playable race and I don't think they should be. They're the enigma of the Eve universe and letting people pretend to be them destroys that. Someone on another forum (PA boards) characterised them as the Vorlon of Eve, which isn't far off.

Destroyers and Battlecruisers should never have been made, and there was great discussion within CCP about the destroyers and a lot of opposition to them.
Lets get on with some tech 2 instead of inventing more useless ships. The more ship-types there are the more likely it becomes that some are rendered useless. Get on with the show CCP, do your homework for once instead of inventing new ideas that delay the things you've already promised. As far as I recall you're still missing the other half of Exodus, and this should have been in development 8 months ago as you promised in your DEV Blogs, if you can remember that far back.

So what is matter of RPG if someone wants to fly with it or not... I'd like to fly every ship... just to said that I can.

We got 10K of useless car designes in RL... you forget about RPG... every one should fly what he wants... jest because this game is still RPG.
BTW without noobs You'd probably never play this game... every new player is worth more than experienced one... because noobs are making this game more crowded place... more advantagues, more real. What would U do with 5 thousand experience players in 5K systems that we have ? Nothin.

and no, we don't need more t1 frigs or cruisers. we need a full set of ones first flying first, and tbh, we have enough now. i think a tier 2 BC and destroyer, and a third BS would be a nice addition though

i agree that there should be tier2 destroyers and battlecruisers, and tier 3 battleships (just to saw and use something new and not insanely priced (faction ships))
i still enjoy flying some tech 1 ships, they keep good memories fresh, flying tech2 or all to well known bss whole the time could be boring too
i love battlecruisers too, why? becouse i like them, they have really nice models, could be nicely fitted and do they job well
i know most peoples would like to get: frigate, uber frigate, more uber frigate, frigate of doom as all the ships in game, but they dont run this game and its good

yea, destroyers suck, especially if you are doing missions solo. Hardly any low or medium slots really dampens their potential. I fly a battle cruiser and it's really slow. It's a great tank tho and great to mine in, despite the lack of cargo capacity.
Few cruisers can beat it for armor tanking. +5% armor repairer eff per bc level rocks. Don't armor tank much because most times the npcs don't even get through the sheilds. Did most of my lvl2 missions in it.
Lvl3 missions different story. extravaganzas would eat me alive if solo. Regular lvl3's are tough in it because of the slow speed, I can't really kite the Vigilants the serpenti's come after me with... too fast. Looking into trying them with a thorax... With less guns and more speed I should be able to do them, albeit much slower because of the lowered damage output.
Then again I am a n00b. Once my skills are trained I should be able to take the lvl 3 missions with ease, barring the extravaganzas...
For now they get into my armor if I make one mistake. Lvl 2 missions are boring, except the lvl2 equivalent of extravaganzas... the kessie missions 8 ) love those but don't get enough of them. Missile boats make them a little challenging and the lewt is always decent.
