i can be wrong for sure but it's funny how 2 the most active regiones are high-sec (The Forge) and low-sec (BlackRise).
And people still speak that pvp in high-sec doesn't exists and low-sec is pure dead |

Sinq Laison with 14589, Metropolis with 18349....
either RvB help these regions too or ....
what's funny is: the most common predator in Sinq Laison is... Rokh |

As for the Rokh. Predators are the ships that appear on killmails, the attackers. Prey are the victims, the ships destroyed.

i know. that's why this fact is funny for me: i've never seen one rokh used for pvp since Droneland war 2011. nd they are THE MOST active predators in Sinq Laison

I just checked. The Rokh has appeared on 2743 KMs in that time period. The Hurricane 1701 KMs.
I checked it out further. 90% of these Rokh KMs are happening in Rancer via Legion of Alts and Pandemic Legion.

First off, Poetic, thank you for your presentation of this data.
I just wanted to point out that the reasons for The Forge, Domain, Metro, etc. having such high numbers probably has more to do with the trade hubs located therein rather than the presence of Fweddit, RvB, etc. I know that to most of the l33t PVP crowd, the Merc business is beneath contempt, but Mercs create a tremendous amounts of carnage in those pipes and hubs as we deny access to the enemy.
Anyways, it seems a bit dismissive to wave off the kill numbers in regions simply by saying they're inflated due to the presence of a couple entities. You could say the same thing in virtually every region of note tbh. Quality Assurance

I will add a comment when that is done ... when I start doing this month by month, I'll also be posting the +/- change from the previous month. So people can see rate of change.

The last realy big fleet fight I was in (sometime last week), with 250+ on both sides, both fleets were flying Rokh doctrines(100+ Rokhs on both sides)
Edit: It was DnD versus Init and tribal iirc.

i see new numbers on alliance and corp names. What do these numbers mean? Number of members in this entity? What for?
For example: region Cloud Ring. 1209 killmails and number on TEST is 3029. |

Since multiple people can be on a single killmail, the Alliance/Corporation numbers can be larger than the number of killmails.

I admit that I wish CCP gave out this data as an end of the year state of New Eden address to dispel a lot of the BS people take for granted in the forums. I can't afford the fee as a rookie just learning to sit a frigate well but even I see uses for those kind of numbers when planning future career moves. I'd love to get a hold of some of the Amarr space data. However, I wanted to write that you are inspiring for creating your own unique and profitable career in EVE that fits outside the normal sandbox we think of. Datamining of Unusual Utility... Good going. |
