I am sorry to hear that you are worried but I think you may be worrying unnecessarily.
Please feel free to tune in to our next CCP Videocast on Tuesday, April 16 which will feature CCP Unifex, CCP Seagull, CCP Ripley and CCP t0rfifrans who will be on hand to answer questions and, hopefully, put your mind at ease

I'm not worried. A key part of the last year and a bit has been making sure that EVE doesn't rely on a single person. Now we have a great team leading up development in CCP Seagul and CCP Ripley along with all the other devs who have been around for ages (and some rather spiffy new devs ). I have every faith in these people to carry on doing amazing things and I know we will only put in a great person into the EP role.

Executive producer -> mobile strategy something does not exactly sound like a promotion. That he remains with CCP however suggests that he hasn't fallen out with the CEO or is disgruntled with CCP. Pretty confusing.
And thank you!
Who cares about promotions, it's all about doing amazing things with great people and pushing the boundaries. We will still do that with EVE, we are doing it with DUST 514 and all of our projects will break new ground.

And you deserve it. Thanks for doing a great job for us over the years. The new EP has some serious shoes to fill.
Credit where credit is due, a lot of people have worked really hard on EVE for much longer than me. That Hilmar guy for one It has been a huge privilege for me to do the EP role and I am glad I have been able to help move EVE forwards in good ways for all of us (remember, I love playing this game too )
And I don't think there is any chance my future will be more relaxed. Lots to do and deliver on and all of it by yesterday Still, laser focus for me on EVE until the second decade even though the development team doesn't really need much from me anymore. Those guys know what they are doing and what EVE needs to continue to be the most amazing world for us all to live in. Executive Producer of EVE Online |

Very much this except that the CCP dev team has a huge amount of integrity and talent Executive Producer of EVE Online |
