It is with great pleasure that I can announce that EVE Character Manager (ECM) and the other Future Falcon EVE Tools (FFET) now have a new home.
I'd like to give a big thanks to Yeggstry for creating the site and KingLamoni for hosting it.
Where can you visit this wonderful site??? Drop by http://www.eve-ffet.com and come say hello.
Look forward to seeing you there.

Yup, we've been working of the code for the past few weeks and getting some of the bugs removed, but it's a long and slow process, so soon(tm) :D
Also look out for a new and exiting announcement from the team on that site, time frame is about 3 months for the announcement, but I'm not saying what it's about as I'd have to pod you from your apoc, while I'm in a noobie ship just for the total embarressment factor to keep you quiet about it...
FFET - Developers of the ECM / EM / ECC and ESH tools, plus a new and exiting tool comming to a quaffe store near you soon...

does this program allow me to change my skills without logging in or is it just to plan skill training?

No, you must login to the Eve game proper to do that. CCP does not have any licenses to outsiders to manipulate the game outside of this context (that I'm aware of )
These tools are run outside of Eve and are pure "read what CPP provides to us only" basis.
As stated, there are some issues we are looking to resolve in these tools as well as make some docs so those new and old to these tools can learn how to use them faster.
We've identified some critical areas and these need to be done first and released ASAP. After that, we'll get into the other issues. So please feel free to visit the new forums.
Then no one needs to lose an Apoc from a civilian laser!

i like to say "THANK YOU" too. it's really THE best tool for me, no offense for all the other great tools made by other good people. but i can sit hours before the ECM and play around with the skill queue, add, delete, add, delete, add, delete ...

well i'm just kind of nervous that the program is asking for my account user name and password. i don't give that to anyone..especially a 3rd party program.

it works but the "new" missile skills are still not in the skills.xml so I keep getting errors when I start the program...plus torpedoes is spelled wrong, it should be just torpedos Holder of The Trout, Director - Chaotic Rangers (\_/) This is Bunny with cement shoes. Copy (O.o) Bunny into your signature so we can (> <) help him on his way to sleep with the [XXX] fishes. |

What version of the Application are you using? 16.6 or 16.9? also what version of the skills.xml are you using?
To the guy that was nervous about the asking for passwords, don't worry there is an option that make the system ask you for your passwords every time it updates, your password is stored in an encyrpted form, and without the private key no-ones going to get it.
Also the new version that we are working on is utilising one of the AES encryption standards, which is what the US Govenment recomends for all secure data. Also NO information is sent anywhere, ECM connects to 2 web addresses - eve-o's site and eve-i for updates, but with both being down at the moment... My current version keeps replying with "unexpected response from server"
Do I have to D/L a new application from your site to get back to 'normal'?

Well , you could do as suggested numerous times and go to the new home for ECM and search the forums for support there...
Linkage to the solution to your "issue"

Islay was working on a Java version of ECM for phones, but I've not seen the code for it in with the other stuff, sorry.
