Well that is if you are going to Nullsec by yourself...
But if you are in an alliance you have them to help self-police owned territories, intel channels, and friendly gate bubble camps weeding out any nuetrals who aren't flying a cloaky.
Secondly everytime I go to null its empty for the most part, so you have that at least.
So if you see someone in your system, you can dock up right away.
Wheras if you are a miner in high sec and have 100 people in the system, chances are you won't see that -10 status player enter the system with his catalyst since its impossibly tedious to look at every single character in local.
That said, you don't have concord, but you can kill anyone without reason that isn't blue to you just to be sure.
It's not a perfect system, but you have more safety than you would if you were in low or wh. "Entitlement" is a euphemism for "I hate the way you play and it makes me cry like a baby". If you fantasize about being immoral it means you enjoy being immoral deep down. |

Last night in my opinion you basicly told 70 %of your player base to F .O.
did any of you at CCP thought on the long term chain effects of your rebalacing rescourses plan ? nah i m sure you didn't it is a sad day for all those small and medium size industrial coperations usually made up by several friends that like their independence and love nothing more than to create and immerse into the game
i do not think many of them will still be playing same time next year
i can only endorse the fact that you want to fight t and eradicatehe problem of bots , but be honest moving the problem out of sight will only make it worse

A couple of days ago I was hauling some meta loot out of a lowsec system to refill the public hangers at the office. Suddenly my notification flashes. War has been declared on my Alliance! A good thing I have a 24hr heads-up I think, as I decloak and suddenly get yellowboxed and take a rough hit to the shield buffer. A ship next to me explodes as CONCORD moves in to strip the offender from his ship. I gain a killright. Maybe these occurances be connected? Does the pirate group that has declared war on our Alliance, have some ganker friends? It's time to don the tinfoil and march for war.
The week progresses slowly. Some war targets are spotted but they quickly get pushed off gates or chased around hisec. While we dont pull off any kills, the stalward BC defense we put up coordinating with another corp that has been decced, prevents unnecesary deaths. Some members carefully start up small PVE activities with combat ships on standby. Because half our WTs can't enter hisec and remain mostly offline we decide to roam around another part of lowsec.
I join a roaming fleet not far in lowsec, and moments later a WT is spotted a few jumps back, chasing one of our guys. We creep a few systems closer back and set up an ambush, but then the WT docks and logs off. I decide to move into the system to see if he logs back on again soon. I jump the gate.
There is the pirate I have a killright on, a few kilometers off the gate. In an Orca.
I activate it.
I burn as hard as I can. Overload all the things. The scram takes.
I make the call on TS.
The sweetest of satisfactions granted.
The bliss of catharsis as a bonus.

for whatever reason, your links got eaten.

very, very nice. One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia |

First of all, was this posted by rolling your face along a keyboard or something, bone structure bouncing from letter to letter? It makes little sense at best.
Though to try and extract meaning from it, I'm assuming this is something to do with 'waaaaaaah ore rebalance may actually work to ensure some industry occurs in 0.0 now, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah'.
My suggestion there would be that the average small industrial corporation would probably never notice the difference, beyond the ability to perhaps be now welcome in sov space to help provide services! LOOK AT DAT EMERGENT GAMEPLAY AND NEW OPPORTUNITIES.
If it's related to the ice changes, then OH GOD, not the whole minute or two to locate an ice belt and then enjoy the fruits of your harvests twice as fast so allowing more money-making opportunity! And if people mine you out first, god forbid, you might have to *shudder* wardec someone to claim your stake! God-damn what an opportunity.
In conclusion: :frogout:
(CCP, please add :frogout: to the smileys, thanks)

indeed. it's a sad day when the goodposters are from goonswarm.
maybe OP was formerly in WIDOT. That could explain a lot... One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia |
