I've always liked those fan-made "Raise the Flag" videos for the EVE factions, but since I'm still pretty new to it all, I was curious as to the name of a certain ship in the video. (This one: Raise the Flag III: Fear the Tribes)
The ship itself pilots in a vertical position, to me it looks like a potato wedge. It's seen a few good times throughout the video, notably at 1:43 when it is zoomed in on with a still frame. At least four of them are at 1:30 as well.
Thanks in advance for any answers. |

Side note, those videos are awesome, but with new footage available, some of them could really use an update.
Ever since seeing one, I've wanted to be able to pilot one at some point. Freakin' artillery tower is what it looks like. |

No more pesky split weapons. Just don't try to jump into it ahead of time. Spend at least a year or more in sub-capital ships, join a corp/alliance using these and ask them for tips on the ship.
The Tornado is also vertical and is a Battlecruiser that uses large turrets but has next to no HP. Different role entirely, but vertical ships are cool, simply because they are:

Another vertical ship is the Myrmidon (http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Myrmidon) - a Gallente battleship. |

Opened this thread and was disappointed by how long it took for that to be posted. |

On your way up, take a look at the Tempest/Tempest Fleet Issue/Vargur line as well. Solid ships, especially with coming updates, and most importantly: V E R T I C A L I T Y |
