Same here. I can browse the internet and play other games just fine so it isn't an internet, modem, or router related issue.
Cleared the client cache (several times), restarted the computer... still nothing.
The message I get...
The Server wrote:Connection Timeout - The server did not respond to the client's secure-handshake request within a reasonable amount of time
EVE Offline also says that there the server is still up and people are online. However if you look very closely at the 24 hour graph you'll notice that there is a small, but noticeable, "cliff" in the PCU.
Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

I live around the Oakland, CA area and also have Comcast. Perhaps it's a regional and/or ISP issue?

Me too. East SF Bay area - I'm fine for Diablo III and SWTOR and any other Internet usage - but no EvE....
Fix on the way ? EvE Problem? Network problem? Maybe DNS has a corrupted record and is resolving the server wrong ?
Any help from the pro team at EvE would be good... |
