He is one of the most talented "EVE commentators" in EVE Online.
He has been tantamount in enticing players to join Arek'Jaalan with his commentary-videos.
Another fine work by Delonewolf. |

Well done. Very nice video.
And judging by the view/like count ... sbd. is actively publicising this video (having been just uploaded, but seen by many). Somebody know by whom? |

Absolutely nice video. Thank you for sharing that.
I, personally, have always shown these two videos to any prospective players I come across. I feel like they summarize it well:
I Was There The Butterfly Effect It's very simple, really. If you see Tengus on scan, they are ratting. If you see a shitload of Tengus, the Russians are blobbing. If you see Proteuses on scan, they will be on top of you in about a second. If you see a shitload of Proteuses, the big boys are having a goodfight. |

LOL, I remember the first time I saw that. Rolled. It's very simple, really. If you see Tengus on scan, they are ratting. If you see a shitload of Tengus, the Russians are blobbing. I was about to say something negative, but he does point out the importance of resource gathers.
Still, what does being connected with all the space jerks and anti-social persons in the EVE universe say about yourself? I suppose in the end my subscription condones the asshattery and hatefulness of those sociopaths and I should be ashamed. All this says is I should feel good about internet spaceships nevermind all the tears that this game causes.
Also, I didn't like the end music. A bit emo for my tastes.
Hrm.... I suppose I did say something negative after all. "Entitlement" is a euphemism for "I hate the way you play and it makes me cry like a baby". If you fantasize about being immoral it means you enjoy being immoral deep down. |

Yep, got to agree that the completely player driven economy was one of the most important aspect of Eve success and all other good MMOPGs should take note. The economy itself has created so many different play styles and adds to the complexity, and re-playability of Eve.
They still need to fix supercaps though.

So given all the kind words towards the video, does this mean everyone is going to respect resource gatherers now? "Entitlement" is a euphemism for "I hate the way you play and it makes me cry like a baby". If you fantasize about being immoral it means you enjoy being immoral deep down. |

Great video, thanks for sharing. The part that touched me the most was when the screen came up of all the cynos in the north. I remember that day well; I was there, and saw first-hand exactly what the video creator meant when he said we are the universe because we are all interconnected. |

Without villains there cannot be heroes. Would Chribba's altruism or eve uni be as amazing without the griefers and "sociopaths?" Would the game stay interesting without the constant conflict? And while eve may not have many stories of heroes vanquishing demons, it does have community leaders who create events for players. Blowing up capitals for the fun of others, strange community events such as races, or the anomaly that is RvB. Though the villains may seem evil, for most it is merely a part they play. I still ninja and bump miners to this day, but I have on a whim helped miners and even offered to salvage for mission runners in the past. They were newer players, but still.
No other game is as helpful and welcoming to new players. Even the hives of scum and villainy make exceptions to help new players out. Say what you will, but when all is said and done, eve actually has one of the nicest communities out there. Look at wow, or dota and league, and you'll see actual sociopath. Eve is all roleplaying...even if nobody wants to admit it. Just look at the New Order. This Space Intentionally Left Blank |
