Hey guys,
Even though you handed us our asses in most of the engadgements in Eha and the surrounding area of the weekend, we had a really good time and for alot of our dudes those were some of the biggest fights they had been in!
All smack talk, flames, and onion politics.... we had a blast!
Mad respect as always goes out to Justified Chaos, for bringing their A Game.... I still need a KM on Mrs. Whispas... and if I ever get ahold of her/his corps.... well you know ;) |

What? Another weekend of massive kills over a FW system? That's like twice in two weeks. I thought this was only supposed to happen once or twice a year?
GF's guys. Was fun this weekend.

Is the Caldari offensive over? I get back from a weekend trip and it seems like it is. What was the main objective? It seems there were massive fights around Nenna, Eha, and Nisuwa. Was that the objective or were they diversions for something else. I'd really love to get the story from the Caldari perspective, as the Gallente perspective of "OMG, squids everywhere to kill" doesn't really frame it very well. . |

It was one hell of a weekend. It reminds me of defending Heyd that 1st time we lost it (you guys being the defenders this time). Basically fighting a delaying action so everyone could get their ships out.

A couple of sizable Caldari organizations (Templis and Totally Consensual) had started to move into Innia and building up their forces ever since Enaluri fell. In the past couple of weeks, you would find anywhere from 10-25 pilots logged on during the US TZ . It became apparent that they were looking to take Eha and we were just wondering when they would start the full on invasion. That question was quickly answered on Friday.
My corp was doing a corp Talos roam on Friday evening, going up and down Black Rise and Placid looking for a fight. After four fights, we ended our roam back in Eha when we spotted on scan; a Nidhoggur and 2 Thannys inside a small staging POS that Totally Consensual had setup. WTF? Not since the introduction of the new EVE Jumpgate effect at Fanfest, did so many boys get a Nerd Boner at the sight of several capital ships.
Eha was also plexed up to 25% with constant intel of Squid plexing fleets going in and out of plexes. So between the staging POS and the obvious fleet plexing, we knew it was Go Time for the coming weekend.
On Saturday, we formed up a Battleship gang to RF the POS. None of us actually cared that much for the POS itself as we welcomed the fights they would bring. We were just more interested in escalating into a proper fleet fight that involved something bigger than a destroyer. And kill a couple carriers, maybe? Unfortunately, the enemy didn't want to come out. The rest of Saturday and Sunday was spent fleet plexing Innia. Truth be told, none of us wanted to kick them out as we liked the casual skirmishing that having neighbors bring. Much like Enaluri/Nenn. But since the Innia Coalition decided to escalate this into a full blown sov grind and would constantly run when we did have enough to form a fleet, then we had to respond by plexing their home system and kick them out. In essence, our response was Justified.
The only real surprise to any of this is how quickly the coalition gave up. By Sunday evening, the system was at 50% and people were already evaccing with cynos going up. They gave up pretty quickly. Kinda hopped that they would fight till the system hit 80-90%. The previous generation of Caldari militia pilots would fight till their home system hit vulnerable. But this new generation doesn't seem to have it in them.

Why didn't Gallente fight when we dropped by :(((
You guys had a nice cruiser fleet with some BC's and BS's mixed in, we had a smaller, cruiser only fleet.
Would of been good fun. |

Fighting in Innia now over, as Gallente has just taken the system Thanks to the friends that came to fight with us. MANY thanks to the squids that fought against us, even as the system was nearing 95% contested. You guys should feel proud of the effort you put into the defense of Innia and I hope your newbies and vets alike had a blast. Combat Evolved, Cory and others kept putting fleets together and contesting the plexes. Fun was had by all.

The Latest Caldari Offensive Ends in Seppuku; http://themittani.com/news/latest-caldari-offensive-ends-seppuku
Quote:In the aftermath of this weekend's dismal showing, Southern Renegades has completed seppuku - and imploded. A single afternoon's shenanigans has resulted in the majority of their corporations leaving for greener pastures, while the 3 corps that remain have left FW. Templis Dragonaors, once one of the Caldari militia's largest alliances, has seen one corp leave and move to join with the Amarr, while others have left to take up wormhole exploration. With the back of this latest offensive broken, the mostly unscathed B O R G alliance has absorbed the lion's share of former SOUTH members still interested in FW, and appears to be the last beacon of hope for the Caldari to hold any meaningful piece of lowsec. Already talk has begun among the Gallente of a strike against them while the rest of their militia is still reeling from another forced eviction.
Dear Caldari:
Stop trying to organize these mass offensives before building your foundation. They never work and your young fragile organizations keep imploding because of it. Grow your FCs and grow together as inter alliance or inter-militia fleets first before doing these huge ambitious plans that never pan out. WTB the next Gavin or Super.
And I'm seriously not trolling here. High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve . |

I do not know why you care about caldari doings, just keep killing them, that is what they want. Game is fun when ships explode.
Caldari is not going to make any well planned skilled pilot attacks and we all know why. Farm on !
