I was curious to where it could be found, was thinking of getting deepcore mining skill, but do not know where to go.
Is it in a low sec system or can it be found in any system ?

certain 0.0 systems.. its very rare.. *rarer* than the usual rares (bist/ark/crokite)

oh and a piece of advise, please contact the owning entity of your 0.0 choice of operation. and dont whine when you get ganked if you dont obtain access.
there are some good systems in detorid cache and other areas in the south that i know of.
oh and before you ask, yes its only located in deep 0.0 ive found deep 0.0 to be actually more safer than low sec :)

How much does mercoxit sell for when its for offer, not ordered?

merc is found in really low sec systems, http://pvp.dk/evesys.php should help, I found it in -.9 before. It's fairly profitable, if you're in a 0.0 corp you can likely get access to it and have a pos set up for refining. I don't feel like running math, but it's better then ark or crokite for sheer profit.

Low end of morphite buy orders in market systems is usually 22k, going up to 30k, averaging 27k as I recall. One refine of mercoxit (250 units, or 10,000m3 of ore) yields 530 morphite.
It may also be of note that control of many areas in 0.0 is fluid, and negotiating access with one party may not be looked favorably upon by another party.

There are places 3 jumps from an empire 0.5 system and 5 jumps from an empire refinery.

theres also crokite 1 jump from empire :P that doesnt mean mining there is feasible :P

thx for the replies .. so unless a person is ready for 0.0 space forget about getting deepcore mining skill ?
I play with it in the test server, safe from others owning space , let alone asking for permission. that way I can get a taste of the ore . . tho prices are no where near in test as live, but at least I would be safer as a noob in 0.0 space on test from pirates and territory animals, then I would on live

Since i'm not a miner i'll ask this. I feel like such a noob but I've never mined since I started playing.
What ore do you use deep core miners on?

I think if anybody is serious about mining in deep 0.0 needs to do some serious homework and organisational prep work before comencing.It would be a long unrewarding process untill the first ore trucks start arriving into the station..which could be long while.I think it requires a good team as well..i dont think solo works very effectivlly that deep that far away from nearest stations.

I ahve seen some in outer ring but to eb honest its many jumps from station you'd probably ahve to have a pos refinery to make it bearable.
