Do we ever get NPC Pirates around stations? I would love to see it.
I would love to see a little more action with this, maybe they would only attack someone who attacks them 1st to protect the ones who only want to watch.

Cool, but I would love to see them outside all the stations many times over to add to the atmosphere.
-5.0 Players could do this but by the time they get to -5.0 Concord ganks them and they don't want to come around in the Empire systems.

Stations are protected by turrets, so it wouldn't really make much sense to have pirates zipping around them and not getting shot at. It's odd enough seeing them at gates with Concord AND sentries right there and doing nothing. I think it would be really unbelieveable to have them at stations too. Fun, but really bad for RP.

One may expect some Serpentis to be patrolling the stations in say, Serpentis Prime for example.

Reminds me of Freelancer. If you undock from a station, sometimes you will find a full raging dogfight between pirate vs. corporate, police or navy NPCs just outside the station. Sometimes the battle is even between two pirate groups. Love to see such mayhem on EVE as it would add to the atmosphere. _______________________________________________ "Is it me or the bad guys just getting totally pathetic?"---Clover, Totally Spies, "Hope is wasted on the Hopeless."---Mandy, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Same here. Doesn't have to be a lot, just a few things here and there to suggest that there is more going on than just the activities of us players. Convoys heading to different systems. Passenger ships. That sort of thing.
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at stars. (Sig best viewed with Firefox)

Want to clear the lag out of Oursulaert? 10 Serpentis battleships around each station... a full-scale pirate raid.
Five days later the Gallente Navy pushes them out, but the pilots get the idea. ------ I generally assume the following: 1. 95% of Empire Carebears don't get 0.0 PVPers. 2. 95% of 0.0 PVPers don't get Empire Carebears. 3. 100% of Ore Thieves steal just to upset the Miners. |

Didn't NPC's in 0.4 and under occasionally warp to a station? Was that a bug or a feature?
