Every trader has their buy or sell orders set up to where it will always be 90 days.
But here is the issue - Sometimes we will just want to sell our item directly to the highest buy order. To do this, you simply right click your item in the inventory and hit sell, as usual. So when you press sell and accept, it sells instantly and you get your isk.
But the problem is, we are still getting charged the broker fee for an instant sale. We get charged the broker fee because we have it saved as 90 days, and the only way to remove the broker fee is to change the duration to instant by hand.
Please make a fix for the market system to realize that we are doing an instant sale and to not charge the broker fee.
Let me know if you guys have seen what I am talking about, and I would like to know anything else you guys have to add.

You know you can change it from 90 days to immediate right?
And technically you are not doing a direct sale to the buying character, somehow CCP or whoever controls the market has a broker.
You want to lower the broker fees train market skills. |

It's an isk sink. Don't think they'll change that. If you don't want a broker fee you got to trade in station. An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded. A narrow mind is a focused mind.

Can't you avoid this by using the simple trade window?
I'm also unsure what exactly you're asking to be changed? The system does exactly what you have ordered it to do, which is how it should be. Something like, check if the sell order is fully completable when you make it and if it is, automaticly revert to immediate no matter what the player has set for duration? |

At this time, you simply click the drop-down and choose "Immediate" if your default is "3 months". How do you propose the system read your mind? Can you explain in a coherent manner how you want it to work? CCP has no sense of humour. |

My right-click sell option is insatnt by default. Check your settings maybe? All I pay with right-click sell is sales tax not broker fee. |

Or if trade windows are too hard, you can always have someone meet you at a safespot, have them transfer the ISK, then eject the item in a can for them to pick up.
This way also has the added benefit of being able to smartbomb the customer and potentially get your item back. Its kinda like GTA and the hookers. Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings? |

It would be nice if this were the only way to trade. It would be like anarchy eve

Don't use the advanced window to sell quick-sell items. You are charged a broker fee.
Use simple mode.
Take a stack of items and preview the isk you'll recieve by each method. |
