My main question... why do you hate minmatar?
The rupture is already insanely underpowered post cruiser buff. You've taken the cane down to a sub-par bc. The rifter didn't get buffed at all the first time and is presently one of the lowest quality frigates (+50 armor is that a joke?). Missiles not being effected by TDs effectively ends the rifters hayday as a useful combat frigate entirely. Further gal are getting another huge buff so are large lasers (already the best weapon system in the game).
You plan to ruin TEs (the only way minmatar can get enough range and tracking to make up for the paper tank on the majority of our ships)
At least you've made the nagfail "useable" but still the worst dread in the game. (we'll see if the only dread with 2 guns can do it post-patch)
The "new" navy cane is just the old cane, which is laughably out classed by other faction bces.
Don't get me started on the fleet phoon buff.
So all in all we get a buff to the fire tail (a underpowered and still outclassed by a hookbill due to rockets being a superior weapon system obviously this is the only way they could be immune to ewar i.e. tracking disruptors) and finally adding a drone bay to the stabber. Oh and the tempest fleet is marginally better, but not inline with the other navy battleships.
I know minmatar winmatar, but I honestly all I see are CCP caving into carebears (pvp-toggle/safety button, minmatar nerfs, anomalies, hidden belts) At least they will be scannable now, but still impossible to tackle ANYONE paying attention 10 seconds to system scan + 5~ to warp onto grid is enough for a capital to align and get out. These need to be on the overview like FW beacons otherwise eve will continue to be WoW with spaceships. Instance pve sites that give you ample time to escape any other players.
On an unrelated note how are more expensive battleships a GOOD idea? Expensive ships = less pvp = less dynamic content = less people engaged in the game. Explain that logic? Honestly increased ship prices have resulted in a marked drop in pvp activity levels around the cluster. Which on top of the mineral changes and your foolish war again bots (the base of the economy) you are sending the ship markets into free fall. Nobody likes to grind for isk. Higher ship prices are never a good idea this only results in less people flying around in smaller ships. |

I'll cover a few of my opinions here:
- CCP don't seem to be favoring Minmatar, but I don't see the hate. I do see very powerful, many argue overpowered, ships being brought on line with others. Some few players cry that this makes them useless .... but that would mean that everyone elses' ships were useless. So to be short, I'm seeing an awful lot of balancing, but we'll have a good month or two to figure out what the new FOTM is. I sincerely doubt Minmatar is going to get anywhere as useless as Amarr were from 2005-2009.
- As for more expensive ships, I'm not sure if I like the cost, but if it keeps newer players out of the ships a little longer, that's a good thing itself. Battleships will most likely be seen exclusively in fleets for large scale fights (outside of PvE) ... probably for a reason. With the capabilities of smaller ships, newer players have their horizons broadened. It's only natural for someone unfamiliar with EvE to assume 'bigger is better', get in a BS, and realize that they aren't a lot of fun nor that much more powerful. I'm glad their discouraging this horrible learning experience a bit. If you're driven to threaten others with harm or violence because of what they do in game, you can't separate fantasy from reality.-á That 'griefer/thief' is probably more sane than you are.-á How screwed up is that? |

Power of different races waxes and wanes.
When I first started playing Gallente were OP. Then they were the worst in the game for a long long time, now they are getting buffed back up. Cross train, or wait. Those are your options. Minmatar will have their day again. They still have lots of awesome ships too. Love my rapier. Tempest fleets can be a pain in the ass. Hossenfeffer. |

Bots are also a bane on any player who likes to mine, and ruin a active and living mineral market by stagnating prices.
Bots need to be banned, because not only are they breaking the rules but the are putting many players in a worse position in their chosen profession, and it's really hard to have respect for anyone who would come to their defense.
