I don't even see a video to play with the OP linkage at all.
Edit: nvm. It's just buried in the boilerplate on the right. -áGÇ£The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast.GÇ¥-á-á - Oscar Wilde |

Interesting. Seeing as the economic recovery plan worked so well, why did the voters give them the boot(.ini)? Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Interesting. CCP really is one of the more important economic institutions of the country? Somehow that seems unlikely 0-o
CCP's part is rather small though...

CCP's part is rather small though...
Apart from the Aluminium industry there's not a whole lot of export going on in Iceland (and as such foreign currency coming in).
CCP brings in quite a lot of foreign currency every month, which considering the countries very small population (only around 350,000) is quite a lot of money being brought in at regular intervals. This can be quite an important economic factor, as an influx of more stable foreign currency exchanged for ISK boosts the stability of the Krona (I think that's how it works, but I'm no economist). As such, CCPs steady income from their MMO is quite the boon for Iceland's economy. Especially if quite a bit of that money is then injected back into the economy by investments in hardware, people, etc.

According to this Business Week article, CCP had $65mil revenue last year and employs 600 people. That's .02% of Iceland's population. An equivalent U.S. company would have 626,000 employees.
Our fun facts from the article: -A frigate costs less than $1 (in PLEX value) -A titan costs about $3,200 (in PLEX value) |
