I would like to thank all concerned in the siege of Arzad for what was the most intense, exciting, fun month of my Eve career. I salute you all, both friend and foe. Eve is alive. FW is not broken.
I submit my personal eve-kill record as proof that the Minmatar both fought for Arzad and more often than not fought outnumbered.

Sadly for the Amarr its almost entirely fallacious, we did have some support from friends in Tics (cheers guys) but really nothing more than a couple of pilots.
We didn't call in support from the rest of the Militia because (I think) we've not really fought with them in any great measure for the last 3 months or so. We've become a bit inward looking as an alliance, which is nice in terms of running small tight gangs (we like those), but **** in terms of halting a 50-70 man assault. We're looking to open up a bit more now I think so you'll probably get the fights you want next time you have something planned.

I agree. It somewhat erks me that the main view of this battle is it is a one weekend affair that involved a standing 80 man gang and oil painting.
While I will be the first to admit it could not have been done without IWhip and Almity holding that standing fleet for the final push; the battle for arzad lasted for about a month starting with the siege and flipping of tararan.
To many a pilot's losses, sacrifices, blood, sweat and tears were overlooked by the final push. Few know that the battle lasted almost a month, with huge brawls that lasted at least ten minutes with logi, tactics and outright brawls for each and every plex until one side admitted defeat and pulled back to regroup.
This was by no means a two day PvE victory. And those involved know exactly how well fought and hard this campaign was fought.

The fact that this is Warfare & Tactics does not mean the forum rules don't apply. I know FW can lead to heated debates and other forms of expressing the various antagonistic viewpoints of the different factions. But please keep that 'expressing' a bit civil on this forum.
That said, if I would have been strict (rules in hand) this thread would have been reduced to two or at most three pages.
