I enjoyed it. It's not a classic, as such - I wouldn't put it up against A Fistfull of Dollars - but it was fun and well shot and amusing, and it had something to say.

this movie was really fun. the characters are all highly memorable and enjoyable. acting is top notch. story is classic tarrantino. it must have been really fun to shoot. |

Its next on the list of Movies I need to watch, not sure if I'll like it to be honest, last one I saw of his was Inglorious Bastards...

I still think Serenity trumps pretty much everything modern westerns have.

Exactly. And besides, it's not really a spaghetti western.
Those take place in the western US, not the slave-based Old Deep South.
Quentin just uses spaghetti western tropes as a device. |
