McDonalds coffee is ok, it tastes like coffee, its hot, it has caffeine in it and its much better priced than that over complicated and pretentious over priced shite in a cardboard cup from all the other places.

It tastes nothing like coffee. Most coffee in the states doesn't taste like coffee. |

You gotta be fast with that stuff, man! Just let the food get hot enough and then pour more water into the heater for the coffee!
That is, unless you wanna make an MRE bomb out of it.
MREs were awesome...you just had to get the right ones. In Iraq I used to just eat MREs instead of going to chow; for one, we were always getting mortared and crap and I didn't like getting caught out in the open when it happened...and it usually happened when I was at chow. For another reason, the chow in Balad was terrible. Breakfast was decent, but everything else was blech. |

Yep, McDonald's Coffee in Canada is really good actually. I'd never touch the stuff in New England though. Not sure about the rest of the US |

When I was 18 and homeless, I crashed at a friend's place, he had a bunch of MREs...I had never really seen them before and I was pretty much starving, so one day I grabbed one labeled "beef stew"...I looked inside and all I found was what turned out to be the heater...looking at this strange thing I was thinking to myself "this must be like freeze dried astronaut food wafers"...after trying to eat it, I'm sure you can guess what happened...

I'm so glad i live in a town that takes its coffee seriously. Contrary to popular opinion, some places in the US do have the good stuff. the trick to is finding a place that roasts the beans in store, once ever other day or so; anything pre-ground needs to GTFO. once you have the whole beans, you need a proper grinder. this is where you should spend the money, not on the coffee maker. improperly ground coffee (by those little bladed spinners) leaves you with different size coffee particles. when brewing some will get over brewed and some will get under brewed, resulting in a slighter bitter cup. what you need is a burr grinder to ensure proper particulate size. as for the actual brewing?? what's with all the the machines?!? keep it simple, you can't go wrong with the french-press, my friends.
there's no better way to start the day, imo. |

Cheese Tortellini is the best one out of all of them, I think my second favorite was either the country captain chicken (made with imitation pork meat, not sure what that is or where it comes from) or the chicken tetrazzini. |
