I've played eve sense 2003, so I've seen some things have stories to tell and been there and done that. I was there went the first titan was killed. I was there when you had a wait to log into the server of only 2k.
So lets see those stories, things that you remember the most. The one thing that stands out over everything else.
Here is mine,
The first time I jumped in to 0.0, man I though I was the **** when I was going in to .4 space with some friends. We mined in a dead end system that was .2 and I though I was making some isk. I was maybe making a mil or two a day, but I was with friends and having fun.
I stayed in empire for some years, until joining CDI under forsaken empire, and the first time jumping in to 0.0 I was like a kid in a candy store I was in a frig then man nothing like risking everything you owned, (the ship was everything I had at that time due to a bad war).
I though I was risking it going in to .2 space but now I was really risking it and having a blast. Camping gates in MO to mining in out of the way systems. My time in that alliance made me the person I am today.
In the height of me playing eve I had 6 toons, and almost a full trillion isk and I have done things like making a billion isk an our, then taking a week off when CCP fix it so you can't anymore, lol.
There has been alot of good times over the last 10 years, and before my long break about 3 years ago, (just now coming back) I had the time of my life. What do you remember? |

I remember logging in a few days ago & some random guy gave me money. I think he wanted something for it but I just said thanks & logged off. The guy who was sitting next to me in the first nullsec round table who had obviously not had a shower since before boarding his flight to Iceland, you really stank. You know who you are. |

I remember when I had a chat with a guy in my first Alliance. He was from Texas, born in Germany, his mum was German and his dad a GI. And finally we found out a few weeks later that his mum and uncle were good friends of my uncle. I passed him some pictures of his dead uncle I got from my aunt by mail because he had nothing like this from his family left in Germany. It was pretty awesome and emotional that we met in EVE by random. We still try to meet. Probably this summer. |

Was fighting a catalyst in a wormhole with my ishtar. Gf wanted to go out, and told me to stop playing. As i wanted to kill the dessy i di-¦nt react the same moment.
Gf pulled powerplug of computer and said "done now". Restarting the comp and relogging, waking up in clone station. Really had a nice evening in town with her. |

I remember the look on the faces of each of those children as I attached them to the Exsanguinator.
Of course the pictures I took at the time for reference for my sculptures and other artworks help keep the memory fresh.
They were all like
"Why do you want to kill us? What have we done? Where are our parents?"
And I was all like
"lol L2Live, noobs" "You designed these rules to trick me and it's not fair! I don't have anything left and might as well quit now..."-á-á-Authorized Pixel Distributor

Grin, an artiste always appreciates her adoring public.
Unfortunately, Im only allowed a small amount of what They call "Tainted Claret"
The rest is sent to deep Delve. I dont really know what happens to it after that. "You designed these rules to trick me and it's not fair! I don't have anything left and might as well quit now..."-á-á-Authorized Pixel Distributor

Its great stuff.
You can see inside people BEFORE you get the flensing knives out, which really takes the effort out.
I know I know, it makes The Game "too easy"
But when you are working through the 378 passengers of a Caldari Pleasure Yacht you need to work fast before either the fluids congeal or they try to end themselves. The Octo-MWD Scorpion. I can't be certain but I think I was the first person to think of doing that - but couldn't fly one, so someone else got to be the guy who actually did it.
Anti-gravity anchored containers that bounced you ten million AU from where you were trying to warp. (I wonder if any of those bookmarks still exist?)
From my own records, the biggest brown-trouser moment has to be the flying six jumps through 0.0 and through a chokepoint to get back to Empire, in a pod that was down to 27% hull. |

You have exquisite taste.
I shall try and remember to send you an invitation to my next Exhibition.
So far its working title of the main work is "Ploughshares into Swords"
It features a scale model of an Apocalypse made almost entirely out of Amarrian spines. "You designed these rules to trick me and it's not fair! I don't have anything left and might as well quit now..."-á-á-Authorized Pixel Distributor

What I remember most is how vast space used to be, where you could travel quite a few jumps without seeing a single soul, especially out in null, and when you did see people in lowsec and nullsec it was most often in ones and twos. This really brought home a sense of the scale of space and also allowed for some great PvP where the enemy didn't always have reinforcements waiting nearby. Now, you can't fly two jumps in null without tripping over 7 titans, and even lowsec is full to the point where getting a small or solo engagement can be difficult (to say the least).
Oh well. Hopefully with the upcoming changes announced at Fanfest we'll finally be getting significantly more star systems to bring that feel of a vast universe back. |

I had a Thorax that I loved. Two years ago I was going to get moved out to my corp down in 0.0. When we were there one of my old corpmates said "Hey... Fly over here and stay". I did...... And that's how I got introduced to Stealth Bombers. I did receive 100m ISK though, but still.. |
