Other then the tutorial career agents , is there any other exploration agents that you can work through? |

No other agents available for exploration missions. There's about 1/2 dozen missions that require probing but those are Cosmos missions.
It would be great if there were some advanced exploration agents available offering only probing missions. Such as retrieve agent belongings trapped in w-hole or scan for agents stranded ship in system and repair it, etc.
Could have been an excellent addition to this so called exploration expansion.

And I have no clue why they did not think about that. It seems for me that they did not really work on Odyssey so much. The way they approached to certain problems like veterans running HIGH-sec signatures, etc... all these solutions are short sighted and I can't believe that they're not able to do something more about it.
EDIT: Or maybe they're just working on mission content and they'll change everything, and maybe add new type of missions too. Who knows? Honestly, I would prefer more that they fix all the issues which are in-game before adding more content on top of the broken stuff. I think everyone would like that: to have a game which actually works, and then they can discuss the new content. |

Now i don't have much objections to expanding missions, but that has nothing to do with exploration and it's the least interactive PvE content in the game, so it shouldn't be focused heavily on. |

Who says that you have to complete mission within few hours\days\weeks? :)
Give us an easter egg.
Let me tell you something. You have probably seen those statues in EvE. The ones which hold a flag, and show you a direction. Sometimes, I just let my ship drift in that direction in order to find an easter egg. I thought: 'Hey, who knows? Maybe there is something!' Of course, I did not find anything. But still ^^ it was a hope.
Anyway, as I've said, I don't play in NULL-sec with big alliances, but since Odyssey people have reported a lot of serious issues which are game-breaking. And even if I'm not around, I would like that the issues are being solved. I would like to see new content. But it's not like I'm going to go and say: I'll quit my sub if you don't do it. Fix the issues. What's up with the difference in hulls T1 and T2. I think that should never have happened. Whatever.
Anyway, I understand what you wanted to say, but I just want to say that space should be filled up with random mysteries. Mysteries so random and unique that no author can explain the source of mystery ... but he can explain what he felt while he was within it.
Meh .. random blabbering. :) |

Usually I agree with your replies but this time I think you're missing the bigger picture.
Having a new type of Agent Division with exploration based missions would bridge the gap between mission running and doing exploration. There's a lot of PvE content that could be derived from that. The rewards could be more than just isk and standing gains, like Cosmos missions. It definitely would have added a lot more content to this so called exploration expansion.

Seems to me that R&D agents should be delving out exploration missions. Most of the loot pool is invention/manufacturing based, and a certain dev has made it clear he doesnt want R&D to be passive anymore.
Afterthought..to add more risk/reward, you can move the R&D to factional warfare., ei, you have to be in FW to even access the agents, with the chance of getting shot out of the sky every time you undck. Add some invention missions (our navy is running out of Hoi II's, take this bp and make 3 t2 bpc for us), also. this would give a reason to the otherwise ubsurd idea of datacores in the FW LP store., since R&D agaents are theoriatilcy researching for the war effort. |

This is a good idea except that it takes a lot of skills and standing to access R&D agents, thus it wouldn't be viable or available for the majority of players.
