I started a corporation called SWG Exiles a few weeks ago if anyone is interested. Its in caldari
space In the Forge Region, Kinotoro constelation, Kisogo solar system at the State War Acadamy. If you're interested, look up Aurelius Valorum, Aurelius Valorian or Randolf Hawkins.
I'm glad EVE is around. I definitly like things free form rather than quest driven.

SWG exile here as well, Piotrek, BH from Bria, quit just after the CU, been MMO-less since then. Currently on day 9 of the Eve trial, looks like I'll be sticking with it, cant wait to do some BH'ing again.

Still got my SWG account running upto the 15th of Jan which by interesting coincidence is when my first billing for EVE is due.
I was a pre NGE Jedi on Infinity by the name of Levo Frepa, had been playing for 18 months but now logging on to SWG is such an effort and its no fun. All my mates are quitting so the social aspect has gone for me also.
Decided to check out EVE today while waiting for SoG to be patched (Settles of Ganareth, the Dark and Light prelude). I love sci-fi over fantasy and so far with my about 6 hours of play time on EVE I have been very impressed. Nice web site too that seems very easy to get around and containing a wealth of information.
It's nice to be here :)

Yet another SWG Exile (still have accts but dont know for how long. I was on the Gorath Server as Jahal/Scossko Jahal was a master AS/SW/Art with some merchant pre nge.
Scossko was a master BH/Pistols pre nge.
I started playing SWG when Earth and Beyond closed,(yeah i know two times, hope third is the charm)
Impressions so far- Loving it, the depth, complexity astounds me and I would have wished the same for SWG but alas it was not to be.
Hope to see some of you here on EVE and have a good one everyone

My gripe isnt with NGE, it's with SOE. I am a 2 year SWG Vet / Elder Jedi and I've cancelled 2 accounts. Here I am.

I don't know if this has already been suggested but anyways. I like many of you am a refugee from the NGE. Was Twig on Tarquinas. Just activated my new eve account this morning before heading off to work. decided to go with a new one over my old account as all my agent status will be at 0 and don't feel like going through the long haul to get back to lvl 2 agents and up.
anyways i was tossing around the idea of setting up a corp for all of us. gonna take a couple days before i get the skills and capital to get it up and running so this may be premature. was wondering if any of you would be interested in signing on with such a corp if it was brought into existance(well and also if one isn't already in existance)

I was actually Khaider Allahn on Sunrunner, because my friend Aiyalla dragged me over.
I was on EVE in under a week...that was about 3 years ago...
Tried SWG again, the CU hit, Aiyalla bailed and so did I. Again, only on SWG for a week or two.
EVE 4tw. Following friends around SOE games because they're fun company and hot pieces of arse IRL, 4tl. Playing SOE because of an attractive woman is like getting a root canal because the dentist has a cute receptionist.

Greetings from SWG Tempest. Well not anymore. In a nut shell... My husband, myself, my son-in-law, and my grandson all cancelled our 7 collective accounts immediately after SOE RUINED SWG  Sad... we played SWG beta and were there day 1 of pay to play. After the change our characters that we had been playing for years just ceased to exist!!! You can no longer pick and choose what you want to be. No more duel careers. I literally shed tears I was so mad. SOE Lucas Arts have to be the least intelligent folks in the gaming industry to to this to all these people. Loyal paying subscribers just treated like dirt! Taking a wonderfully complex game like that and turning it into a glorified console game that even my 8 yr old Grandson thinks is stupid now... real brilliant business move there by SOE huh? *shakes head* Just think about the losses they are taking... I mean seriously. Just my Families accounts alone (we had 7 collectively) 7 @ $14.99 per mont = $104.93 Then x 12 months = $1,260.00 per year! From just ONE family!!! They are loosing millions I asure you.
Well, It's good news for nice folks like EVE ONLINE because I love this game! so does my family! Families who play together ... stay together! This game is a wonderful change! The Mods and CSRs here are FABULOUS! You get help instantly when you need it. The community is a toal #1 class act all the way! I love the way the mods police the game and keep the trash out  We fell in love with EVE from the tutorial alone! I have never in my 8 years of MMO playing history seen such an AWESOME Tutorial! and you can quote me! This game has the intellectual challenge that SWG had and then some which is why we played SWG ... it wasn't a simple game... it was complex and intellectually challenging! Well SWG may be a ghost game of the past but EVE is DEFINATELY THE game for those Sci-Fi fans who love their brain massaged  From the friendly volunteer mods in the help channels to the Corperations welcoming the masses fleeing from a ruined galaxy seeking a new home... you are all TERRIFIC in my book and I LOVE it here in EVE!

well exiles corp(swg2) has just hit the 42second member and still growing from the looks of i. i know we may not be the largest or the oldest exiles corp running but we are the most laid back corp i think.....so drop me an ig mail or just aply at one of our 4 offices.

This game has done the one thing I never thought I would do, and that is not log into SWG for a straight week, not even to check my mail. I've played SWG since Day 2, non-stop. Was my first, and I thought, my only MMO. NGE changed that.
Free trial is almost over, but will start sending CCP my money soon. Wasn't smart enough to cancel SWG right away, decided to wait a month before cancelling in the hopes they would roll-back or set up a "classic" server.
I have sooo many questions, I don't know where to even begin. If I knew how to find some of the ex-SWG corps, I would come check you all out. Is there a "/tell" system in this game? And how on earth do you access in-game controls such as turning off sound, and changing the screen to full screen? Half my stuff is cut-off at the bottom playing in a window.
Anyway, nice to see some fellow Kaurians...Hey Ragla, nice to see you.

I'm not an exile exactly (I've been playing sporadically for about a year and a half), but I did play SWG. I was on Bria from day 1 up until the "combat upgrade." I also used to play Matrix Online, but I dropped that when SOE bought it.
