I love my instant-docks, being a miner, but can see how they have no drawbacks and get around the 15 klick run that is a vital game mechanic for PvP.
Instead of the 'new' warp to 0km that is being tested (and isn't loved by all), how about just not being able to place bookmarks around 'large gravity well' objects, such as gates, stations and planets. The area could be anwhere from 50 to 100 kms of the object. This would still give the players the ability to use bookmarks to mark mining entry points, safespots, cans, etc., but wouldn't allow for instant-dock and instant-jump points.

Ah they were never going to take bookmarks out, just instas. And the main plain was only gate (and maybe station) instas, which would warp you in at 250km if used.
And I looked and behold: a pale horse. And his name, that sat on him, was Death. And Hell followed with him |

removing instas would destroy the 0.0 industry...
for now they are the only protection against rats

If you would have read the above posts you would have realized that they are giving you back a pretty much similar feature, that works without the hassle of bookmarks too.

if you would check the testserver you would notice that there's still a big chance you won't be in insta-jump range..
and as we all know indies aren't really the best ships to run away

Frankly, I thik there should be a navigation skill that determines how accurate your warp is. You warp 30 AU's and expect to get within a kilometer of your intended destination? That's mighty fine accuracy. Being off 15 kilometers is hair splitting close at those distances. Having a skill for it to be better would add more depth, and let those who put in time for the skill reap the benefits.
Navigation/Warp Accuracy (3) anyone?
