Evening all,
I noticed today the Khanid Interstellar Reconciliation [KIR] was recreated, does this mean the khanid are back, does Old Religion have the time and connections to build a alliance to make the khanid people proud.
I would like to hear what's his plans |

I'll say two things.
1. Neither the Khanid nor the Kingdom need to reconcile with anyone.
2. I am suddenly reminded of the sad state of Kingdom-loyal capsuleer organizations and now find I'd like to spend the rest of my afternoon at the bottom of a bottle.

Indeed. I have fond memories of Koshmarnaya Akula and the Khanid Provincial Vanguard. Old times now, but the memories still flow easily.

A name I have not heard for.... many years. He is greatly missed, and is a man whose help I could certainly use these days.

Makkal I think you try to come off as wiser then you are. The Khanid family was divided at the kingdom's conception, a divide that resulted in the kingdom's first rebellions and civil wars. While the Kanid Kingdom has managed to flourish through all forms of rebellion many of the family seek to restore harmony between the shards that remain of their once grander name. By fusing the families not only would the Kingdom grow stronger but they would have one less enemy to worry about.
And Captain Hakoke, I believe you have misinterpreted a great deal of history here. The Khanid are not 'back', the name still persists just in a vastly inferior dominance. I am still foggy on the latest details but I believe the Khanid name is prevalent within Caldari space, as they didn't exactly get along with the rest of the Amarr. Also the word Reconciliation - as stated prior I believe this is intended to mean the rejoining of the fragmented family name.

Sorry, can't change how I was raised... For the most part.
Perhaps attempting to learn the history of the Empire isn't my cup of tea, after all the most interesting features of the culture are only nearly as interesting as those history points of the Caldari State.

Makkal the Older has a number of those miniature slaver-hounds: small, annoying creatures that yap up a storm whenever someone walks by and leave tiny piles of crap on the kitchen tile.

I must agree with Captain Hanaya on this matter. Simple textbook descriptions do little justice to any group of persons - especially when the sources are possibly questionable (if this were the case).

I appreciate your tone. I was running off of textbook descriptions - I feel like I just got into my secondary education and think I'm the smartest thing in the universe, when in reality I've just read some persons short introduction to the knowledge that I must first obtain to properly discuss such matters. I shall return in several months when I have a better understanding.

It's quite alright. At one time or another many of us fall victim to the trap of the "short note" version. One should not be too surprised in retrospect that residents of the Kingdom end up taking offense at having their rich culture and heritage boiled down to a paragraph or two, and will react with varying degrees of propriety.
