So i want a good blasterthron and i've tried a few setups but i'm not satisfied. I've got a few specs that i want.
-Must use tech II ions or a mix of ion\electron II's -Must include a mwd and preferably a webber and scrambler -Must be able to soak up damage for long enough to close in and kill my opponent -Must have sufficiant cap for the above -Must utilize all available slots
I dont think its too much to ask from a blaster ship. All the other smaller blasterboats i fly meet these criteria and some even exceed it so why should the blasterthron be any difffernt.

impossible, well its a good ship vs long range guns cos one u get in clsoe and orbit at say 5km they cant hit u well, but vs a geddon ur gona have a tough time, vs tempest teh same thing
vs raven u will die, vs scop u will die, vs domi u will die
its a high risk ship cos u either win or u die
not to mention ur range sucks

This is the problem with the tanking blaster ship. The MWD will kill your capacitor powers, to the point that your tank probably won't hold long enough to get in range.
*IF* you can park a Megathron 2km off your opponent's port bow and open drones and blasters on him, basically all he can do is sit down and cry. It's just nigh on impossible to get there except by accident.

Im sorry, but you've seriously just filled most the slots on teh ******* ship, now you want someone to cook up a mix of hardeners and reppers?
Are you capable of thought on your own? Are you aware that there's a fitting thread stickied that has links to SEVERAL threads on fitting mega's. Do you feel that you somehow present a new fitting problem to be solved?
I can see if you just want to bounce idea's off of people heads, but honestly, this thread is just spam and should be locked.
7ion II's MWD, webber, scram, injector 2xlarge repper, 1/1/1 of each hardener, rest mag stabs or fitting mods
I dont even fly one (Dom here) and I came up with the standard fit.

Fit a couple of dampners after u have trained the special skills for it. this will give u the time to get to ur range. Bare in mind that with this setup u will be in need of a couple of support friggs doing the scrambler, webber bit. Get a vindicator as well might be a good idea since it gives a bonus on less penalty to use of MWD.
