There's an idea, miss Kitten didn't like my cow girl costume, maybe I could work at a zoo? I dunno about this like, heavy petting though, sounds kinda painful. *The image flickers into view. A young man smiling brightly, followed by a camera drone walking through a sparsely decorated room.*
Good morning New Eden, and a heartfelt welcome from the Alexyava Paradox Corporate tower.
So... we have been had. Indeed the above mentioned statements from the fresh Amarrian pilot are true to a point.
Our security logs show the removal of several ships, modules, skill books and blueprints from the unsecured corporate hangers. We, as a corporation greatly value transparency, and we inspire a great amount of trust in our members. So while security teams are currently still investigating these logs I can share with you that the damage done in amount of ISK is currently at 2 Billion ISK.
The damage done, as shown by the stills and manifest lists of the hangars shows most of the damage is suffered in the ship department with an estimated 1.5 Billion ISK. The modules as they are average out around 500 Million ISK.
No TCMCs were present within the corporate assets, and thus any claims to have taken any were falsified, designed to make us look bad ideologically.
No narcotics were taken from members personal supplies, the corporation does not possess bulk narcotics.
All personnel are accounted for, everyone is fine and safe, which is the most important thing. Assets can and will be replaced. Our people, our most valued and irreplacable assets, are all fine and safe.
As it stands all members of Alexyava Paradox who were impacted by this heist will be reimbursed by the corporation. The many need not suffer the wickedness of a few.
*A gentle shrug of the young man's shoulders, and a shake of the head follows.*
So what have we learned? It will come to no surprise to most of the cluster that we are a new organization, we share a certain ideology that some do not agree with. And that is quite alright. We are all entitled to our opinions.
We will soon celebrate our first anniversary as a corporation. And less than a year ago when all was raised from the ashes the voice of negativity boomed. "You will never live out in a wormhole" "You will not last a month out in space" Like the veritable drill sergeant the cluster rained down hammer blows the paradox.
So we have been shown to be cautious, and for that we are grateful. We have now first hand experienced the fact the very basics of capsuleer training, that we have to be careful whom we trust.
I can not of course share with you changes in internal procedures that will warrant that in the future this won't happen again. I am sure that you, as all member of a corporation and all capsuleers understand that.
Any experience from which we learn makes us stronger. So in fact I think we have to thank you for this, Ichkow San for a lesson learned.
Fly safe people of New Eden, fly free.
*The young man bows politely to the camera, which then switches off* aÑÉ |

I believe the standardized capsuleer retort should be 'we didn't want that [insert asset name here] anyway'. So you've got some extra style points there, at least. - Leopold Caine, Domination Malakim ___________________________ Angels are never far... Stillwater Corporation recruitment open. |

A crude and unpleasant action, regardless of the fact that none were hurt, if I may say so bluntly. Without any grace or high thought.
While theft is unambiguously uncivilized, such events are newsworthy and deserving of an odd sort of half-admiration when they demonstrate great cunning, considerable patience, calcuated deception, or merely have an impressive figure at the end of the day. This, however, has none of those. It is akin to a mugger striking a woman for the money in her pockets, and then publically bragging of his accomplishment. |

Pilot Ikiryo has it exactly correct. A small group of bumbling buffoons steals a couple of faction battleships and some modules and then crow about the fact as if they'd broken into the Garoun Investment Bank and gotten away with trillions of isk.
Petty corporate thieves are the lowest form of honorless scum, in my opinion. Real professional thieves at least use some thought and a bit of flair to pull off their (considerably) more profitable heists. What the OP has done is the equivalent of a fast smash and grab job and hardly anything worthy of a breaking news report.
Enjoy your new tags as corp thieves, I guess. I hope the small amount of goods you stole was worth ruining your reputation and never being allowed into another corporation. AlexyIva will hardly feel the loss.
Oh, and if you're really so proud of your accomplishment, then post it in the correct place. Of course, you'd get laughed at by the real big time crooks over there. What you want is irrelevant, what you've chosen is at hand. |

Bias warning, I consider him a friend. But I gotta say, Mr. Medullier's transmission is a pretty classic example of "it's not the scandal, it's the response." In a pleasant subversion of the trope, he's probably turned a confidence-shaker into what I hope will be a new, level-headed and self-assured direction for Paradox going forward.
I suspect this was not the original plan for the heisters. |

Probably due to lack of proper goat handlers. You need to keep on that or else they can get unruly and bite.

First: It's good to see that ALXVP is handling their first experience with a corp thief with grace.
Second: This isn't news at all. Pretty much every corporation who inhabits Anoikis will wind up with valuables hanging out in the breeze sooner or later. KAIRS (before the merger, of course) had to deal with at least two corp thefts, and that was merely during my tenure; they had thefts before then, too.
In the words of HRDKX's Abis Cann in his writeup of their infiltration/takedown of MERYS (Insidious Design): "We realize, however, that there but for the grace of Bob go we...We've suffered a corp theft on average once every three months, and sometimes a few in rapid succession."
Hopefully this also serves as a reminder to CONCORD's firmware monkeys that the corporation roles system can go off and marry a Fedo any day now. While the last round of improvements provided a small relief in the form of personal hangar arrays, it does not go nearly far enough to address the intrinsic security issues with starbase life. |

What, debauchery in deep space? Never.
ALXVP seem like a reasonable bunch of pilots from the little I know of them, sorry to hear of these dramas. Is why I've always been invite only. Deep space paranoia plays a positive role sometimes!
Thankfully it sounds like the culprits jumped the gun and took little of real value. 1.5b stings but it's not critical. I lost as much warping into a bubbled tower last week, but we won't go there...
