I know that these kind of topics belong to another forum section but because this is likely the place where CCP Stillman or CCP Elerthino visit the most, I posted here.
Many EVEMon users have requested us to support the 'Cerebral Accelerator' and include it into the training time calculation as it effects the character's attributes. We decided to refrain from adding a manual option, first because it's only a 30 days booster and second because once CCP removes the offer we will have to remove that option from the application also.
So, the idea is to add an extra xml node in the CharacterSheet API to indicate if that character has any sort of booster like:
Quote:< specialBooster id="2838" /> <- This is the id of the Cerebral Accelerator I bet most of us devs know how to parse that info into our apps, right?
Now, in case the character doesn't have any special booster, the extra line can be excluded. If another special booster comes along, then CCP only has to replace the id.

Just saw the announcement for the Genolution CA-1. With this new addition, what I'm requesting in my OP is mandatory. Any news on that Mr CCP Stillman? Will we see it in "Crucible"? |

when adding this new implant, please dont do a 'special solution' for implants of that kind, but look into revamping the whole way implants are referenced in the charactersheet.
It should be the same way for all sorts of implants. |
