Updated my Startscript to check for Java 1.5 now (I just read that you need 1.5 and not 1.4 as i assumed )

Rahzelk, did You think about using SQLite database instead of wasting memory and time with reading all database from SQL script? It will speed up QuickFit loading process I think. And help me to modify database myself >.> I can't use it now without correction beacause all stealth bombers changed in Rev.II.
Am, BTW, how long it will takes for You to release database update for QF? -- . |

Rahzelk, I have posted this to bugreporting page, just need to bother You once more :)
According to my wish on EVEmon trac and similar post on Your page, I'd ask You to save plans for EVEmon with .emp extension rather than .xml (it also prevent overwriting of plans by fittings et vice versa) -- . |

Hi! I'd like to know if it is possible to change skill attribute level of a char to predict the behaviour on a ship. I see a "enter your level" box in character tab (After load the xml of my char) but when i select a skill and set the level and press apply lvl nothing happen, how do I do for apply this changes? Thanks!

that should work, just press the refresh tree tab right above that. if it doesn't then just repeat enteruing the number till it works (sometimes needs some tries)

Thanks, I tried but I don't see any tab for refresh (I am using the 1.4c version). I just select my xml, the skill I eed to change, select the new level and apply, the number disappear from the "enter your level" box the first time, if I select the skill again the value is the old one, i retry again and the new value stays in the "enetr your level" box, but even doubleclik on the skill or closing the tree or doubleclick on skill folder shows me always the old value. I tryed even the update your attribute button but nothing, when I click on apply lvl button the importet xml changes to default, other things are the same. I should go with manual xml changing :(

Nice tool. Handy for planning my Covert ops career. Not yet able to set it to 3 Cruise launchers on Purifier but I can wait for RevII update ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ -[sig]- ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Aiming for Mining Barge V for Money. Stealth Bomber for Fun. Covetor and Purifier already in the garage ready when I am (which wont be for a while). |

The stacking nerf doesn't seem to be transfering for optimal range riggings and modules. Its treating riggings as their own separate attribute that is combined (addition) with the stack-nerfed mids and lows.

Just curious approximately to how much of a percent is the CAP simulation accurate?
Don't wanna base my getting a ship on it but I would just like to know if it can be trusted to an extent. E.G I have a Ishtar setup on here and have been running a Sensor Booster and T2 Med Armour Rep for going on 10 mins I have also been putting a 2nd Rep on and off to simulate a good fight.
Any idea if this actually works or if its just OMFG WTF IM DEAD !?

In QuickFit the Armor Hardener II use 44 CPU. But ingame it use 36 CPU. I have imported my xml. I got lvl 5 in both the skills that are needed.

Is there a way to compare the tanking ability of 2 setups?
For e.g., I setup one battleship and name it "tank1". Next I setup the same ship, but with one less hardener but more cap recharge and name it "tank2". What method do you guys use to determine which is the better ship (for tanking) in the end?

Problem with 1.4c:
Whenever I start quickfit, all the skills are reset to 0. When I try to select a character in that new pulldown thing, the whole program freezes and can only be killed by the taskmanager. So everytime I start quickfit I have to import my character again, which is very inconvenient to say the least. Is this just me or a common problem? I have the lastest Java too...
WTB quickfit 1.4c without the MikoLi crap I guess :(

Same problem here. Latest Java and all.
I have the same problem and if I load in a character from XML (exported from Evemon) it still has all skills at 0.

It could also be problem of new skills addition. EVEMon upgraded, QuickFit - no. Try importing your character from XML downloaded here in your account\character section. That would help.
Still wonder when do we get new version with all these new and shiny changes of Rev II. :) If that's programming problem - I know little of Java, but it's familiar to C++ so I may help...

I love QuickFit, have for the last year, but the current version is almost useless to me. I can't save a skill plan (well, I can but the program locks if I try to pull it back up), and I'm tired of re-entering the fitting skills I'm training towards.
Hoping for a fix soon, because it doesn't sound like it's just me that can't use the character thingee.

Hi!
I had the wierdest bug the other day using quickfit.
I recently got my covert ops skill up, so now I fly a manticore. I am experiencing some cap problems with it so I decided to try different fittings in quickfit. When I tryed it, I wasn't able to fit the exac same fit I succeded in fitting in the game itself. I figured my xml file was old (lacking some important skills) so I updataed it from site, but still I can not fit the fitting from game.
Just wanted to let you know, otherwhise great software.

Jumping on this bandwagon. Also I'm noticing that when quickfit locks up it suddenly ties up 99% of the CPU's cycles, and its RAM usage starts expanding rapidly until it's gobbled up every gigabyte. Eventually the computer will lock up hard unless quickfit.exe is killed in the task manager.
