Could you tell me how ship spinning, hybrid weapon rebalancing, capital ship balancing and improvements on lag aren't good for the average player? |

What do you consider the average player?
The 37514 players that are in the top 10 largest alliances? Are those not average players?
That's it just 10 alliances.
If you add in the next 10 alliances that takes the number up to just around 50k players? Are those not consider'd average players?
I want to hear your definition of an average player?
Are you only considering the High Sec players average players?
Because that seems to be taking only a portion of the players base, and yes I know that 50k players does not include any High Sec alliance because High Sec players seem to want to be left alone they do not create large alliances. If they do the Alliances seem to be smaller.
Like I have stated before
If you want your CSM to represent you get your voice heard and find a figurehead.
Until that point please stop trying to destroy another part of this game that makes it so unique.
BTW you could vote for me next CSM elections, I'd love a free trip to Iceland. |

Fras Siabi wrote:I want CCP to stop trying to please me as a player. I want them to disband the CSM and stop asking it's player base and money tree for its opinions. Clearly, we are all idiots and don't know what is best for this game and should not have opinions or elected representatives. I am unhappy that the CSM stood up for me as a player and confronted CCP about monoclegate. I am unhappy that players like The Mittani have taken it upon themselves to try and fix a game so that they and others can have fun. I want CCP to stop caring about me as a player and hire Bobby Kotick to take over Eve development.
Sorry but you're under some sort of illusion, CSM didn't solely confront CCP about MG the couple of thousand "OMGWHATHAVEYOUDONE" posts already alerted CCP to that. If anything they pushed a snowball down the hill that was already rolling.
Mittani thinks his version of the game is broken but others are happy, it's not his position on the CSM to force through changes that he/his alliance doesn't like. (not saying thats whats happening but it comes across like that sometimes) As has been said in many many many previous posts the CSM represents the "greater" bunch of EVE players which is at moment high-sec. If he doesn't or anyone else doesn't like it they should quit the CSM.
They are not there to save "their" version of what EVE should be, they are there to present stuff to the great unwashed (the rest of us) and if we likey we say and if we don't we say we don't. It's then up to them to sell that to CCP.
I'm not completely disagreeing with you at all, I like the CSM, I think the current bunch have done a good job and I'm getting tired of all the people knocking them but please don't try to make them out as the people solely responsible for saving EVE because that's horsesh1t. This is rich.
Everybody has already forgotten that the entire reason 0.0 mobilized for the CSM6 election was because of an extended string of CSMs that either ignored null completely, or implemented changes that only made null sec worse. The shoe is now on the other foot.
Oddly enough, the complaints about the current CSM come amidst a series of changes that look to improve the game for all players. I would guess that the loudest complainers aren't aware of what game they are playing. |

I honestly can't agree with this. Yes, one or two of the CSM are defnitely trying some pretty lousy 'metagaming', read ABC ores in wormholes, killing various activities in High Sec etc, however on the other hand we have some (what I believe are) extremely dedicated CSM's who are making an effort to be balanced and fair to all.
Trebor particularly has been openly standing up to some of the more pants on head ******** ideas by CCP, and I also believe that Seleene, Messiana (not 100% sure of the name) are very good. Some of the others may as well live on another planet as even following a lot of the goings on I haven't heard reference to them even once bar a list of who is a CSM.
Overall they have been involved in some pretty major changes that will/should make life better for all. Yes I can understand you may fail to see how nerfing supercaps might improve high sec life, however my feelings are it will (as an example).
Basically the community needs to keep on its toes to make sure the more biased/tunnel visioned CSM have someone watching them ready to call their BS (Hi Mittani) |

Posts like this confuse me. The idea that ABC should be removed from low-class wormholes is something explicitly supported by CSM6's 'wormhole rep', Two Step, yet it's been twisted by a particularly hysterical crew into some kind of 'remove all ABC in wspace nullsec conspiracy'. As I've recently learned from destroying many, many miners, this distortion and hysteria may simply be a natural function of miners everywhere, but it's still head-scratching.
There's also the mention of nebulous "hisec nerfs" which I have yet to see elucidated.
At any rate, your post is a perfect example of the 'divided CSM' fallacy, which is based around the idea that we're all squabbling with each other in Skype, vehemently disagreeing, and that it's just 'those goonies' keeping the 'good csms' down. This is tosh; CSM6 generally acts as a unit and relies upon the expertise of its individual members for guidance on issues.
As has been said before, the ABC in low-class holes comment isn't a priority of CSM6 or something that we're working on at all. There are many more pressing issues facing the game. |
