Or at least some ice planets. Don't think I've ever seen a white planet ________________

There's no snow, but here is a nice festive card I made to cheer the devs up after all the macromining complaints!

How about on Chrismas Eve, CCP gives every player in the game a gift certificate which appears in the Items hangar in the next station you dock in. You then redeem it somehow and you get a little Christmas gift... could be a 75mm rail or a HAC. Hell, throw in a dreadnought thats up for grabs.
Just a thought, since this topic is snow related

One of the things I love about this game is how they don't do silly seasonal things in the game. It makes sense too, for all we know the denizens of the EVE universe don't even celebrate Christmas or remember the holiday at all. There's a lot of planets out there, each with their own customs and whatnot.
I much prefer the more serious tone of EVE that way.

It's easier to satirise that way, isn't it?

We need a reindeer and sleigh to fly around on a random course, and the person that can catch him gets....pretties!

We have bloody christmas rammed down our throats at every opportunity anyway. Yep, all the shops get their festive decorations up earlier every year as they outdo each other in their quest to make us spend more money out of some misguided sense of guilt on crappy tat for people we don't give a monkeys about the rest of the year. So, with the relentless seasonal marketing enough to drive anyone insane, CCP are a glowing beacon of hope in the sea of cheap decorations. No ****ty Christmas junk please!
Oh, and bah humbug and a prosperous marketing season to you all.

This is true. :)
But moreso I'd hate for this game to turn into the absurdity that was Earth and Beyond. Sorry to all you EnB fans out there, I played the game myself, and found it to be far too colorful, cheery and light for my tastes, especially given the whole pretext of war in the story. The lack of seriousness was a real turnoff there.

Yep, I second that.
It got particularly annoying in UO, those crappy snowglobes especially.

You're not looking hard enough! Make it your holiday activity to hunt one out and take a picture. What fun!
