Depends on the mission but most pockets take longer than 3 minutes to clear for any ship.

Stop wasting your time people.
The OP is either too stupid to listen to feedback or only after the money he gets from the adverts.
Personally I think its a shame to the forums he is still allowed to post. Want to have some chat in game? Need help to get into the game as a new player? Just join my channel: Crazy Dutch Guy |

Dominix vs. NM
NM wins in practise due to sentry lock delay unless 1) mission is over 70km range for a big part 2) TD heavy without chance to blap it before it begins (theory, because this problem is probably not real) 3) lag predictability allows switch targeting while the last volley is queuing 4) mission requires moving around for loot
Tested in ultra gank fits with implants. Overall, Dominix is almost as good but much more versatile. Sentry target delay is relatively big. Very big. |

I tried my regular Dominix in a few missions and here are some initial thoughts,
I liked the ability of sentry drones to kill frigates even when they were close. The range bonuses were awesome... 73km optimal for Garde II's and Bouncer II's took it to well beyond my non sensor boosted targeting range.
What I didn't like is my sentry drones would pull aggro frequently. Sure the NPC's had no chance to destroy my drones because I just pulled that drone in for a second or two then put it back out. However for the few seconds it took to pull the drone in, re launch it, and the drone to start attacking the target my drone DPS was down 20%.
I'm going to keep messing with it, try some new fittings and see how it goes. |

Some missions have deliberate drone/fleet aggro traps and always have done. Its something of a moving target if you aren't sure why they got aggro.
Aside from those, 5x350mm (or 6 if there is nothing beyond the short control range) guns shooting from the dominix goes a long way to reducing the desire of NPCs to switch, as does blapping frigates at range first - ie always prioritise an aggroed frigate if its far enough away that sentries can track it on approach, that way you can keep fielding your 750+ dps weapons for the whole pocket. |
