Edited by: Vendrin on 16/12/2005 06:31:48 I just started off a few days ago and was doing the storyline agents, though after finishing the second ones missions he said I should get an elite frigate or cruiser before going to the next storyline agent.
So now I'm trying to do agent missions to get enough ISK to buy myself an elite frigate or cruiser, and I am wondering how do I find better agents?
Also, what qualifies as an elite frigate for the Caldari?
Finally, how do I figure out the optimum range to use missles?
Thanks.

An elite frigate would be an assault ship, interceptor, or covert ops ship.
Er... You can do all level one missions in a plain old ordinary frigate (Merlin or Kestrel) just fine. If you're doing level one missions, any storyline missions you get will be level one too, so there won't be a problem. I recommend a Moa or Caracal though, before you move on to level two agents.
Optimum range for missiles? Anywhere from 1km or so, up to a max of their flight time multiplied by their flight speed (take a km or two off of this, just to be safe) and you'll get a hit.

Thank you, a few more questions if you don't mind.
How do you tell which level an agent is, and which is better a cruiser or a destroyer?

Agents will have their level and quality displayed in the station, and in their corporation's agent tab; just look for the I, II, III, or IV (1-4 in roman numerals).
Cruiser > Destroyer. Destroyer is basically a frigate with nice tracking, nice range, a big signature radius, and a bunch of high slots.

No problem. Answering questions is why I come to this board.

hi...after u have done a good few missions for lvl1 agent(and always do the storyline missions)...when u r docked at that agents station right click on the agents corp info (top right, beside his corp logo)and u will c loads of tabs, one of which is agents(might just show up as 'age').select that tab and it will show all agent types available in that corp and which 1's are available for u to use.as u do missions your standings wit that corp will increase and as a result agents that werent available last week might be available this week.
if u plan on runnin missions regularly u should get the negotiation skil(increases the pay of missions)and the connections skill(which gives a standings bonus)
hopre this was of help....safe flyin.....and yes go for the moafor lvl 2 missions
