Hi guys, I usually don't use the forum very much, so please excuse me if I am posting in the wrong place.
I have a question about DED complexes rewards in highsec. I am running 3/10 and 4/10 in highsec (minmatar space usually) for about 3 months now. Everything looked OK until yesterday, when I made I think 6 or 7 4/10 complexes and found absolutly NO FACTION OR DEADSPACE in the overseer wrecks. I know there is a certain chance that a faction item be dropped, but this has never happened for me before. So, I am wondering if this was just pure coincidence/chance that nothing dropped in all those complexes or did CCP change something in the game mechanics for DED complexes? |

random numbers are streaky.
I once did 20 encounters (gurista) with no loot.
I also once did 110 jumps without finding a ded (about 80 systems including reverses in my course).

That said, it's my suspicion that CCP tweaks some of the drop tables on occasion, without making it known to the player base. But that's just me and my conspiracy theorist wiring.
The box said "Requires Windows-á2000 or better", so I installed Linux. |

Maurus Hekki didn't claim that his experience was statistically relevant, nor did anyone in the thread. He simply observed a variation from his past experience, and wondered if someone heard about recent changes in that aspect of the game.
If you wanna troll using your statistics skill level V, at least try to read completely the post. |

Some will say random, some will say dice. And if CCP changes a number, they'll not say anything about "tweaking". I'm sorry for your bad luck and we can just hope that it gets better in future sites.
Why did I post this? I have no clue ... I guess I just wanted to highlight the CCP changing part in the game (some call it 'tweaks').
EDIT: Please don't abandon the post, and let us know if the loot has changed and you've got something out of your sites. |
