First off Gronsak, please stop acting like you are uber cos you have a 30mil SP character that you bought. Gronsak was not originally yours. yes i know, he used to fly with us in the MC.
Secondly, id take a dominix with 4 large smarties, a cap injector, light armor tank and 2/3 caldari racials with a 20km scram. Ignore the tackler
Your no EW rule is bullcrap. There isnt anything in the game that says "you must not fit EW", though to be honest, i could probably take you without the EW with that setup as you wouldnt do any dmg. It would take a long time to kill you but meh
People always complain about EW in a 1on1. Arranged 1on1s are ghey and pointless, its not eve PVP at all imo. I fly solo in an ishtar with EW and have 1on1s with people a lot, but they arent arranged. They always whinge at me for using EW and stuff. Who cares, im playing the game. Theres nothing stopping you doing the same to me is there?
Jeez this "my setup owns, come beat me, BUT, these are the rules you must follow" rubbish needs to disappear. A tempest with EW, a domi with EW, anything with EW, or even a smart pilot, will kill your uber raven

While calling out the Devs is a bit extreme, it is a fair point though that nobody can beat that setup with one of equal or greater dynamicness.

someone correct me if i'm wrong but don't you get some 45% thermal and 56% kinetic resistance with 2 inv. II?
now let's look at the dmg domi does (just 6 dual 250s, no dmg mods for either frones or guns):
5x ogre II = 475 th dps
6x dual 250 = 100 th dps + 140 ki dps
combined:
475 th on 45% resist -> 261 dps gets through
140 ki on 56% resist -> 63 dps gets through
that is 324 actual dmg on your unboosted shield... with 17k shields that gives you 53 seconds before your shields fail and less than that for armor and hull...
take note that all med (5 of them) and low (7 of them) slots on domi are still free for anything like tanking, dmg mods etc.
so what am I missing here?

Actually, that Tormentor might have serious problems breaking the passive shield regen on a Raven.

a tempest setup for range (150km+) and damage (1400mmt2) would do it i think as the torps whould not get that far.
if they did fit two defender launhcers and sorted.

Im really tired of ppl saying this ship A is better than this Ship B, THATS NOT TRUE !!!! Your skills and ur experience will make a ship better than another.
Fights arranged knowing the ship types are pointless.
The real fights are traveling in ur setup and find some diferent ppl and ships and learn from each fight.
I remember a guy asking for a 1vs1 while i was docked on my base station and i know he was on a close range vagabond. OK, eagle(im only caldari ships guy) with 4 neutrons 2 heavys and web/scram/3 racial minnie jammers.
Or better, the really smart ppl that knowing ur ship type asks for a 1vs1...
All mods are there to be used, what u need to do is use ur brain. (general statement)

grons an alt that is now my main. my real main is amar specilised. and has > 25mils SP
and its not SP that makes u uber, its urself as a pilot although sp helps
