Originally by: Bazman Goddammit, I was really hoping it would have been a fed issue, i'd sell my soul to get a shot of one of those on TQ
You can fit a massive tank and a full rack of Neutron II's on that thing without breaking a sweat
I think Doc Brown sat on it for about a year just polishing it... Never really used it in combat. Then DC bought it for 15bil i believe. So if this one isnt removed or excanged for a navy issue then 9bil is a steal :D -----------------------
The Canadian got in a store and said to the seller: - I'm a Canadian and I can kill you! - Can what? - Canadian! |

How has he been screwed? Hes gonna get what he was MENT to get anyway. Its hard to be screwed out of something you never should have had lol and its not like they are not replacing it with the true reward...

TBH, I think he should be allowed to keep it, the same way the person that mistakenly got the "Miner II" BPO did. --

What some seem to be missing here is the fact unique items have a history, are essentially priceless, and the fact they are one-offs can be (and is!) a motivation for people to do the things they did/do.
Providing a method of getting unique items by mere grinding would destroy the original item's history and meaning, as well as kill something I hold dear that sets this game apart from the rest (which I don't really know how to describe properly but im sure you know what I mean).
How would you feel if you waited 2 years to get something truly priceless to then find out it's going to be mass produced? Sure, I accept items are not guaranteed to remain unique, but from unique to grind-reward would just be a really sick joke.
Anyway, I could go on and on about this but seeing as it's sorted out I'll stop here. Thanks CCP for dealing with this appropriately. I do feel sorry for mac for having something like this dangled in front of him like that though.

Well I wouldn't wait two years to get a slightly better ship, although I accept that is me and doesn't apply to everyone ----------- Destroyed: Raven Navy Issue |

i agree the ship should be removed. however doing that to some 1 is also very unfair so he should have the bp runs on the navy issue doubled from what it would be.
it's only fair.

Originally by: Oveur This is a bug, the Federate Issue (and similarly unique ships) is not given out without my personal approval.
The bp will be exchanged to it's correct type, which by the looks of it should be the Megathron Navy Issue, but I need to get that confirmed tomorrow (it's 2 in the morning here, I'm a bit tired).
Auction over, nothing to see here.
Thanks Oveur. This is how it should be. This ship is special and should keep its special place in Eve imo.

If I were you I wouldn't had posted it on forums. I would have built it and then sell it maybe personal convos or just keep it.

or give him some compensation...
Compensation indeed.
If he had not said anything and sold it another way he would have the isk now.
This is what you get for trying to go public.

Ummm...they got given a Jove mining laser. That was traded with CCP for a Miner II BPO, they didn't get the BPO by 'accident'

This is like giving some one 4bn isk for a week, not letting them buy stuff and then taking it away.... ---
