Edited by: keikolina on 01/01/2006 21:14:03 Taking orders for the Eris, the Gallente Interdictor ship. Each ship takes about 14 hours to manufacture so that can be used to figure out the waiting time.
2 first ships rdy after DT at monday, 2nd January.
Startin bidd is 80 mills.
Hiest bidder at that time get 1st and so on and on ,,,,,,,
Deliveries will be in the order of posts on this thread.
Description:
Name: Eris Hull: Catalyst Role: Interdictor
Interdictors are destroyer-sized vessels built to fill a single important tactical niche: the breaching of enemy warp tunnels. Capable of launching warp-disrupting interdiction spheres, interdictors are of great value in locations of strategic importance where enemy movement must be restricted. Additionally, much like their destroyer-class progenitors, they are well-suited to offensive strikes against frigate-sized craft.
Developer: Roden Shipyards
Unlike most Gallente ship manufacturers, Roden Shipyards tend to favor missiles over drones and their ships generally possess stronger armor. Their electronics capacity, however, tends to be weaker than that of their competitorsÆ.
Destroyer Skill Bonus: 10% bonus to Small Hybrid Turret falloff and 7.5% bonus to Small Hybrid Turret tracking speed per level
Interdictors Skill Bonus: 5% bonus to Rocket and Light Missile thermal damage and 10% bonus to Interdiction Sphere Launcher rate of fire per level
Keep this out of flames and argues, happy biddin.

Base your price off what people buy them for, not what they sell for.
Nobody would buy for 100m, let alone 150m. - Proud member of the [23].

Edited by: jbob2000 on 02/01/2006 01:47:44 Oh well... Sometimes I don't understand people. Why don't you just take one at 40mil? That is reasonable. 60mil??? That's pushing it. You do realize that if you had kept it around 35-40mil, you just woulda had to wait a bit to get one at a reasonable price.
/me prophecizes interdictors becoming the next hacs.
Edit: I'll still take one at 40mil

Should of put up a fixed price at 75M+ until the competition brings you down. Now, saying that, I have no idea what the comps are selling at. |

I would tend to agree with you, however, there are very very few suppliers to date and the build times are approximately 15-16 hours. In a market with extremely scarce supply and pent up demand, you should charge a mint for the product and let the market force you down. Deliberately cowtowing to the f-ing price whiners will only lose you valuable margin at the beginning of production. Had the character stuck at 75-85M and ignored the whiners, the price would have stuck for quite a while, at least through about the first 20-30 builds. And if the additional suppliers don't attempt to undercut, recognizing there is still pent up demand even with more suppliers, then the price might actually stabalize for a longer period at 55-60M. Now the precedent has been set. The sales will suck at 35-50M. |

Well auction is best way to see what you sell things for, there are 10 ships in this auction and i think ppl will pay more for those when they see how much awerage those babe gives.
ATM we have more than 10 bids and now its just question about what the market says, are ppl willin to owerprice each other or ?

"Strange how ppl think 80 for ship is OUTRAGEOUS and then they pay 20 mills for 1 recharge and 25 for explosive hardness t2 "
explosive armour hardeners go for 5 mil on market, not 25. As far as cap rechargers go, people find some modules necessity on some ships, but very few ship types are necessity themselves. Different market conditions, simple.
Don't be bitter because you cannot get 3-4x the production cost as markup on your little ship. Or try to trade your BPO for one for armour hardener, if you find their business so much more lucrative. ;s
