Hi Eve.
On the 26th of august, Jedek and me created Tides, in this chronophage nerdish intricate excel 3D interface, Eve
We never were a super high attention corp, as we already all had kind of a life, but we did our stuff First place we started really to play was after contacting a guy i still admire, Zoolkhan, member of Ushra'Khan He offered us what noone would do now, an unnamed small corp to deploy a POS, in 9uy. We started, the two then three then 10 of us, living the life of guests here.
We produced shuttles, it was hardcore. we lived in a S POS, our "starbase" !
We got our first "elite" bpo (RIFTER OMG). We were the king of the space-hills, we flew rifters
I dont remember the "3-month-hill" as its stated in some eve conferences, as well, we flew rifters with sunglasses, dude.
Then we grew a bit on our old stance of getting a fun group and flying spaceships together
Then we moved north, i dont fully remember how we ended there, but we were in Hydra
Hydra was fun. A real amazing space, probably too good and too juicy (Vale) for the playstyle we had. 2200 ppl at peak, i was heavy on the industry, i like to poop out big stuff !
History did some bad job on Hydra, they probably were the first to discover that having a life and owning juicy space means trouble :p
Still there, we built T-Z and ZA0L outposts,
Side note, please note that the ZA0L outpost undock and location has been based on a 60+yrs old corpmate who chose it on the "landscape view on undock". Appreciate if you live there :) We built capitals, we shot capitals, We ran poses and installed the first jumpbridges, we mined and pewed and stuff. We moved freighters to home via the lowsec route, as JF didnt exist eh :p
Then Triumvirate came in, and we died horribly and lost all our space. But in good fun. Those were really nice opponents, super skilled, but as far as i remember it was just pew in space. we lost, but we learnt a lot. I dont remember super meta-
Still we lost it all. Still, seeing Hydra now seen as a major pvp group, even if 90% different people, is a nice sight :p
We met Gashon, birdythebest, lumpynurse, and soooo many great people there.
Then we moved back to Empire, then RL hit and i had to leave
But things didnt stop there. As RL got busy with work and travelling for work, i had a couple RL meetings with some of our tiders. First it clicked big time just on those nerdish vet pixel stories, and well, i made some friends around the world.
Came back about a couple months ago, long break indeed, and went back to our roots, Providence, which CVA had took over while we were up north.
Felt the same warmth. ok we're an ex-120 ppl corp, now 2, can we err live in your space? After a couple time, we finally could get in, and the ball restarted to roll.
I tried slowly at start, but Eve Online was a fun game, and is still a fun game :)
So good job CCP, but more important
To my guys and ladies, tiders or ex tiders, and yes they're a bit mine, i wish you a freaking HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY :)
You know who you are :)
<3 !
