Why are these forums full of the worst, most egotistical, unneccessary, and outright lamest comments by the most childest people among all MMORPG forums?
I mean, I thought EVE was a game for older adults, but time after time I see childish comments and lame chestpopping posts from people who should have better things to do than try and prove how big their balls are in a game. There are only a handful of respectful and helpful posters, other than that, many try to toss in the first and quickest comment that doesn't inform anything or serve any purpose other than wasting space and throwing coal onto a fire.
I think its time many here took a hard look at themselves and made more of an effort to use these forums as a way to help and inform, rather than tick off and flame. I swear, sometimes I feel this game is overrun by immature 12yo kids... or just immature adults trying to prove something.

I think it's more a case of the "silent majority". Most of the decent folk in eve don't post on the forums much.

I spent about 2 minutes there before I had the urge to scream, and wished I was back here.
Seriously, it isn't THAT bad here.
On another note, try visiting ANY other MMO forums. I guarantee you there will be more flame wars, trolls and whines in a day than the total number posted in the EvE forums, ever.
The moderation here is v. good, obviously there are the **** who you just want to drop off the face off the Earth but as a whole it's more relaxing reading the eve forums than a headache.

I totally agree with the orginal poster. Ive said this for ages about this forum, to many eliteist snobs that like nothing more than to flame or give off with smart arsed comments for no reason other than to get themselves noticed or a laugh.

Maybe the player base has grown too much so the small percentage of "inmature morrons" seems big now?
