Plazmalord Soban	Posted - 2006.01.07 18:11:00 - [1] We would like to thank the Latka Volterra Allaince and all its corporations and pilots for securing Omist. They have done an excellent job. We would also like to thank them for being hostpitable hosts the past few days. We are looking forward to a prosperous future with our new found friends. I was simply asking if you intended to stay in Omist or not after the other big thread about it being your home and fighting til the death and stuff. And maybe you should come back and post when you learnt how to use the forums, they are a communication tool designed to discuss stuff. Someone makes a topic like "thanks for cleaning the space LV" and others reply to it. My reply is connected to the topic.

Well, untill someone dropped 200 small POS's / day, that is. Because someone else own the refineing station, and gets 5-10% of the refined stuff in tax, is not a problem. When I mine in empire, and have to pay 5% tax to Minmatar Mineing Corp that owns the local refinery, am I theire? mineing slave? KOS now have the option to live in peace in Omist under the supervission of LV and ASCN. They are, guarded, by a buffer consisteing of LV and ASCN. They are, 60 jumps from empire. I think, they have found themeslfs a place, where they can live and prosper a lot. I am sure, that if they grow big and strong, LV will honor a claim from KOS to the region of Immensea and Detorid.

Part of what makes this world so grand. And furthermore, without miners, we would all be flying Ibis' and shooting at eachother with gatling guns...(hey, that would be a fun tourney....) so I say thanks to "carebear" miners who keep me armed and pretty (and I am so very pretty).

And as far as being anyones mining slaves we are not. LV and KOS share a tactical relationship. We fight along side one another and utilize each others strengths to further our prosperity. We were under heavy assult from SE and we were at a stalemate. And besides every alliance in the game asks for assistance at one point or another. This thread was meant to thank LV for their charity. I personally would also like to extend my thanks to those corps in the ASCN structure for helping KOS. Including CYVOK. I know that sometimes decisions need to be made that arent easy and im sure that when he made his desion is was to look out for the security of the region as well as the security of his alliance.
