Suggestion: Color code variations in ship scanner results. Keywords: scanner, new player experience Note: The newer player unfamiliar with anomalies and signatures could use an indication of their degree of difficulty. Anomalies should have a green gradient to convey difficulty. Signatures, after successful scanning, maybe a blue, yellow or red gradient depending on type.

Allow to drag pilots from the overview to link a name in channel. If in fleet, allow drag directly into to an open watch list.
Change the channel character search result filter so that if you you type and highlight e.g. "Lake" It will have that exact character as its top entry. (Currently - ignoring punctuation like ', it searches like *Lake* - sorted alphabetically - there is no way to search for an exact match which puts the target somewhere in the middle of >500 names). I'd care about a functional search less, if I could drag directly from overview. |

Adding to this, we seriously need to know if a chat invite is for a private chat - or for a channel. It's somewhat annoying to accept an invite and landing in some weird channel that you have absolutely no interest in being in, but you don't know until you click accept.

When you use EWAR (specifically ECM) on a target whether it is successfull or not is indicated by either a solid icon or a dim/gray icon on the target ship icon. Near the end of the cycle this icon begins to flash between solid and dim/gray to indicate the cycle is ending.
Please remove the flashing. It adds nothing but confusion; especially to ECM. People can see from the "circle" effect when their module cycle is ending. But the flashing makes it impossible to see if the current cycle was effective or not.
For ECM when you are splitting jammers and constantly swapping them between ships based on whether the previous cycle was successful or not this is a real challenge. And as far as I can tell the flashing is entirely unnecessary. |

I would like to know who my Remote Armor/Shield rep is going to.
- Right now there is no tracking as to which repper is going to which target.
- Add in a chaotic fight and it's not terribly clear who exactly is getting which rep.
- When you are trying to save multiple targets, or when you're trying to shift from one target that was saved, you have no real idea if you just turned off the right repper.
Maybe a nifty tooltip when I hover over the repper? |

Suggestion: Modifier key locks in second tier of radial menu Keywords: radial menu, keyboard, usability, ui Note: currently mouse movement is forced into a narrow arc ---
In light of the predictive right-click menu change recently deployed, you might want to consider updating the radial menu, if not in the same manner, but for the same reasons:
Almost 3/4 of the radial menu's second tier, the one you get to via '+', is only accessible carefully following the circle with your mouse. You cannot directly move the cursor to anywhere in the left half, or often even top and bottom segments, without crossing the center and the menu regressing into its first tier of menuitems.
Suggestion: Use 'shift', or any convenient modifier key, to lock the radial menu into its second tier while open.
Prominent use case: Scooping drones to cargo hold. You'll end up targeting them most of the time. See, picture: Mouse path, regressing to tier 1 of radial menu
This will also pave the way for actually populating the left half of the radial menu. |

Suggestion: Highlight active ship (color 1) and damaged modules/ships (color 2) in the station facilities. Keywords: UI, station, inventory
Note: Corp hangar got some 40 rail-thorax in it, half of those got burnt out modules. So entering the repair facilities I'd look at Blue-Fire's Thorax (41 times) and I really got no clue which one to repair. So I close the repair facs and go with the right-click menu, again. That will send me back to the repair facs... :S
Further it would be nice if damaged and burnt out modules could have seperate indicators. As a wormhole dweller and lover of hawks and dramiels, I saved up a bigger double-digit number of burnt out 1mn MWDs. Would be cool if we could filter those to grab all burnt out modules easily and ferry them to a station to repair. "I honestly thought I was in lowsec"

Suggestion: Cardinal direction indication for scanning/navigation Keywords: scanning, overlay, navigation, solar system map, ui Note: New Eden space has them, but we are forced to orient ourselves, scan, and navigate by visual landmark brackets ---
They are in the system anyway, let us easily see them. Toggle-able.
Use I, II, III, IV or N,E,S,W or any icons (Empires' maybe, based on cluster map). Place them on the tactical overlay with the distance ring labelling axes. Or make it their own 'thing' like the sensor overlay, an empty overlay with just 2 orthogonal circles on the sky sphere through poles and parallel to the direction planes. It would be important to have them both in solar map and ship view.
Extra credit: Flip F11-navigation solar system minimap orientation to match fullscreen solar system map's starting camera angle, or vice versa.
Extra credit: Some small, visually not-blocking sub-tics, e.g. every 30-¦, horizontally and vertically. |

CCP uses Python regularly, from what I understand. To quote the famous Python Zen (or PEP 20 if you're a robot), "explicit is better than implicit".
My alliance is currently in four wars, that are all about to expire: http://i.imgur.com/EMMziDk.png
If you notice, the start of the war is displayed with a date/time, but the end of the war is only displayed as a time. The date is implicit. This is not pythonic.
In order to be more pythonic, CCP should modify the war end readout to explicitly state both the date and time of the war's end, rather than leaving the date implicit. |

Suggestion: Perform a market query, when double-clicking an item entry in wallet transactions. Keywords: UI, market, trading Note: Transactions that occurred in other regions may inspire new market orders in the current region. Currently we must manually look up an item in the market browser, if we can't quickly locate it in our list of buy and sell orders. Making this change would also be consistent with behavior that occurs when double-clicking on the wallet orders tab, for items to buy and sell. Please send me 1 isk for every time I have wasted a double-click on the list of wallet transactions. |

Suggestion: Give players more room to seed the market with industrial trade goods Keywords: trade goods, science & industry Note: Trade goods of the type 'Industrial goods' are seeded on the market by NPCs and also bought by NPCs. Some (maybe all) of these goods are used in Science & Industry. An example is Data Sheets. These goods can also be found in missions and exploration, but have little value because NPCs seed the market at low prices. |

- Keywords: UI, Fittings
- Note: A simple quality of life improvement for Ship Hangar management.
---
Currently the only way to strip fittings from multiple ships at once is the 'Repackage' option, which doesn't work if the selected ships have fitted rigs. It should be fairly straightforward in terms of development time since the strip fitting option already works fine for one ship. |

Suggestion: Fix Inertia Stabilizer II Keywords: modules, interia stabilizer, T2 Notes: Current, the highest T1 meta 'Local Hull Conversion Inertial Stabilizers' is identical to the T2 variant, except it has a lower sig radius drawback. It is still cheaper than the T2 module. This can be fixed by decreasing the sig radius drawback on the T2 module to be below the meta module's. |

Suggestion: Allow repackaging of modules in containers/station containers Keywords: UI, modules, repackaging Note: Ease of use/quality of life, as currently you have to move all unpackaged modules out of containers to station inventory, repackage, move back to containers, stack all.
Suggestion: Allow auto-repackaging AND auto-stacking of modules when unfitted from ships Keywords: UI, modules, repackaging, stacking Note: Ease of use/quality of life, currently you have to constantly repackage and re-stack all modules in station inventory after you made ship fitting changes - gets really frustrating if you make a lot of fitting changes and like your inventory to be neat... (gets worse when modules are stored in containers as mentioned above)
Suggestion: highlight damaged modules that are in station (note: this is for non-fitted modules in station inventory) Keywords: modules, heat damage, repackaging Note: ease of use - trying to repackage a lot of modules when one or 2 has heat damage is frustrating as you don't know which modules have damage
Suggestion: 'cooldown' timer for modules with reactivation delay (eg. bomb launchers/cloak) Keywords: UI, cooldown, modules Note: some modules have a reactivation delay, such as bomb launchers, cloaking devices, MJD, etc. They do not show this timer on the modules, so you have to keep clicking them to get the delay timer notification popup. Let these modules have a visible timer on the module (like the new weapon module reload timer you are making for Kronos; see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvXsh6WC0vM)
Suggestion: Allow different overview settings (and bracket profiles) to be applied to D-Scan Keywords: UI, D-Scan Note: improvement - currently you can only apply the active overview setting to D-Scan. Add a dropdown so you can select which overview you want to apply to D-Scan - including which bracket profiles apply to D-Scan (eg. be able to still show friendly ship brackets in space, but exclude them from D-Scan results)
Suggestion: after scanning signatures in a system to 100%, keep these sigs in 'memory' so that docking/jumping does not wipe these identified sigs in your scanner Keywords: UI, probe scanner, signatures Note: ease of use - currently the probed signature is lost when you jump or dock, so you have to bookmark them. If the identified/scanned down signatures are kept in memory, you can just open probe scanner again and warp to them later. Obviously this needs to be dynamic with the appearance/disappearance with sigs in systems (or if you log out), but it should not be required to bookmark everything you find after you scanned it down.
Suggestion: please allow switching of characters from within game Keywords: Launcher, UI, character selection Note: ease of use - currently you have to completely log out of the game and log back in through the launcher to login a different character on the same account. We need to be able to simply 'log out' or 'switch character' and see the character selection screen.
Suggestion: Show drone control range on fitting window Keywords: UI, drones Note: ease of use - currently drone control range is not shown anywhere ingame - manual calculation is required. maybe it can be shown on fitting window stats? |

Some things that have been bugging me:
1. Lack of a 3D scale on both the tactical overlay and the system star map. There are the spheres for weapons/targeting/etc but no range scale for up/down. Adding this would be a HUGE improvement. Also a velocity vector of some type would be awesome!!
2. The new route features in space is neat, but I'd rather be able to see my local bookmarks. If they showed up in a similar manner to anoms and signatures and we're interact-able this would be really great for real time visualization.
3. Fittings: I'd like to be able to edit fits. With all the rebalancing, of which I'm mostly a HUGE fan, I have a lot of old fits that need to be tweaked and it's a giant pain to have to delete, edit and re-save every single one. There is a reason why tools like EFT exist and it's because the eve fitting tool does not lend itself well to experimentation since you have to buy every little thing. If fittings made on Sisi and the other test servers could be saved to the same place as tranquility fitting that would go a long way towards improving this. Then players could experiment with new mods and fits without having to buy tons of mods and crap on tranquility.
4. Drones: much like how guns and mods show states real time in space drones should reflect their current stats based on pilot skills and active modules. For instance, in my Domi, I would like to be able to see with the tool tip how changing out scripts on my omni-directional tracking links is effecting my sentry drone range and tracking. Currently I can only see how these effect the drones in my drone bay with a right-click-> show info. Not only is this cumbersome but also time consuming.
The fitting window should show drone stats in a better way. For instance, if you have drones out it should give you a break down of your CURRENT drone damage and control range, vis the drones in your drone bay that your not using. And this should be shown as a breakdown of total DPS, even if it's only my mousing over the DPS portion. The fitting window should also show drone control range and possibly drone tracking speed and drone speed under MWD.
Last, the tactical overlay should show drone control range and also drone optimal range and falloff. Since we have ships where drone damage is their primary (and possibly only) damage source it's about time that the tactical overlay shows them the same type info that it shows for other weapon systems. |

Suggestion: Allow the Epithal to carry command centers Keywords: Planetary interaction, Epithal Note: Strictly speaking they aren't planetary commodities, but the Epithal is a PI hauler and should be able to perform this PI function without having to sacrifice low or rig slots. Plus, if you want to get several command centers to a system you have to use a separate hauler altogether. An solution alternative would be to make a ~8,000 m3 hold just for command centers. |

'Light Scout Drone' or 'Sentry Drone' is not a valid description. Please add a bit more detail to make these descriptions relevant.
