As I do not care much for the forums, I still thought it was only correct to address the situation as there is so much disinformation floating around.
I was going to write a cheeky post and take a few good hearted jabs at the fellow leaders, and then I cam to my senseÆs due to some cheeky lass and her obsession with chocolate, I realized the reason I no longer really take part in the Eve-online Boards is the obscene adolescence mob behavior that becomes the mainstay of most threads. So I will simply address the northern situation give props and inform, or at least give that a hell of a go.
So what happened down south & up north? Well to be honest we just kind of went balls to the wall in the south, we did not plan to go half as far as we did and really didnÆt prep nearly as well as we should of, so once we did finally get into the theater things started to heat up ASCN put up one hell of a fight and we had some epic battles, no I will not address anything about kill ratios, because it will simply take away from what I am trying to say. ASCN you did one hell of a job in your dedication, regardless of the outcomes of fleets you were always there, always dedicated and always pushing back, I will give you that if nothing else. Your mere dedication to your space shows that you deserve the space you hold.
Now regarding the northern theater, did we OMFGWTF own bob? Absolutely not, anyone who says that is an idiot or was probably not present? Bob dealt IRON some serious blows in the start of the campaign, by taking advantage of a transition period and us being caught with our pants down due to a combination of RMR & the horrid lag that came with it as well as the holidays, which was huge. Most of us were offline due to the holidays. I know I did not log on at all during Christmas because my family is more important, I rarely get to see them and spend time with them, and so I take advantage of the opportunities I get. This was the case with many IRON pilots and FCÆs(cept ripp, he was hanging with Fat chixs).
So yes we did not fight bob, in a organized and concerted effort until after the New Year except possibly a few people who had some extra time, as these were orders (but RL will always come before a game), but as you can see once we did start up the wheels and return from the south we faired much better. When we got back into game and got things rolling we faired fine, you can think IRON weak and or whatever else you like, I could give a damn less what people think, as we have always been thought weak and to be honest it doesnÆt matter either way. We will fight anyone and we are not scared in the slightest, but at the same time we retain a healthy respect for those who are strong enough to back up what they claim.
Bob we do respect your abilities I do not always respect your attitudes but for that matter some times I want to kill my own pilots for their comments so it happens, but in the future to those of you who do not know(IRON included), do not assume. Neither IRON nor BOB got owned, both of us lost battles and both won, bob did some awesome fleet tricks and executed a great attack plan, regardless of our location. And in turn when IRON was ready we responded effectively and very aggressively as we will continue to do with anyone anytime. Bob was getting hit hard, but everyone knew they were planning to leave, so what you can contest with what ifÆs and this & that till your blue in the face but the fact remains, IRON showed up when we were back from holidays, G whipped a$$ as usual and bob did what it dose best, stirs **** and kills people.
Oh and about the G thing, it doesnÆt matters what others views are of IRON & GÆs relationship regardless of if you understand it or not, you donÆt need too, our membership and our leadership know and we are respectful of the friends we do keep, as we try to not keep many. G will always be there for us and Vice Versa, regardless of anyone, even my drunken ass posts.

P.S. I actually banned any of my leaders from asking for help from any northern alliance the residents came and fought of their own accord, they are good men & women nothing more. And we thank you very much too any Dek resident & fade corp. who participated.

The past couple of months have been simply amazing.
Props to SA, ASCN and BOB - you guys all put up some damn good fights and it was nothing short of a blast to share a node with you.

Budrow it was a pleasure fighting by Irons and G side, and though we are a small corp i would like to say that as long as we reside in the fade and dek area we will be there to fight by your side. And just to say that once the Iron / G war machine was up and running it was a awsome sight to behold.
At no point were we asked to come and fight by either G or Iron (even though we are around fade pretty well all the time) but we didnt want too miss out on all the fun

This wasn't even a war, let alone a great war, let alone a great war worth calling the second great northern war.
If the second GNW hits the north, you will know it.
The first one lasted nearly a year...

The last couple days of fighting in ju- might be worth of naming somewhat, but the whole thing otherwise was completely different league, iirc...
perhaps best to leave the northern war label for some full scale future conflict, when it happens ^^
