Basic NPC price is 81k.
In a number of regions the current rate for prints is well over a milion each.
I dont know if some wealthy players have bought upp the entire supply or if there were no supply to start with but if you wish to get a few BPO's before the prices go upp make sure you buy for around 81k.

Not me, friggin skill books are INSANELY expensive. Should have picked up the skill when it first came out but didn't realize it is an agent dropped skill. Prices anywhere from 50-300 mil... lol no thanks.
Other then that, those lucky ones who picked up the skillbooks before people went crazy with them use tractor beams all the time, and love em.

Yea, I'm aware. This entire patch note thing is a great money sink. At 100k ISK for the BPO how can anyone not want to buy one? I can kill a rat in .5 and get a crappy named blaster and sell that for 600k. Might as well pick up a couple of these BPOs, you know.. just in case.

Yes but...
1. Buy like TONS of them now at < 100k each.
2. Patch is deployed
3. Put your BPOs on market for a bit less than NPC price (which will be at 15 million each).
4. Profit/Realize you were just undercut by 10 other people in your constellation alone

In my regional market there are 26 stations, each selling 416 tractor beam BPOs. That's 10,816 units. And if you buy 1, there's still 416 at each station....
Anyone want to part with stacks of money on the off chance?

by now there will be over 100k bpo's bought by everyone who thought he could make a quick buck... I pity the poor player who spend over a million on them, as after the patch everyone will try dumping them for a million or less.....and with the quantities allready purchased the market will be saturated for the next year...

What are you talking about? Graviton Physics? It's not an agent dropped skill. Go exploring and you'll find that it's on sale in some regions at npc price with normal massive NPC supply.

Its a stupid idea as loads of people have bought thousands so no it won't work. That said, you obviously haven't read the post anyway. You were obviously buying from npc's anyhow, thats why the price was 81k and why there was so many. Npc's i believe have an infinite supply, lol.
However their price is going up to roughly 13mil after the next patch, meaning you won't be able to buy them for 81k anymore.

Because not many read patch notes, and not many are informed about these changes... so call it my duty as a long time hard working player to make sure my peers get a fair shake. Not to mention I'd take every chance I could get to put the kabosh on those trying to make the quick easy buck.
Buy 100 at 80k... spend 8mil... sell just one cheaper than market value (15mil), and you already made a profit... so to be honest, my scheme to inform everyone will hardly work. I'm sure many will still make profits.

1. I love my tractor beam. It really makes it easier and faster to collect loot.
2. There was another post about this BPO yesterday. By now I suppose there is not much point in buying them.
3. Still, you sometimes get profitable tips on this forum. A certain class of loot used for T2 production is in short supply. I learned about this on the forum. I cashed in on tons of the stuff that was taking up space in my hangers.

Well I saw the patch notes and thought hmmmm quick buck to be made here ?
No said I they are NPC items which means they are infinate in supply at the moment so everybody is buying them at ~81k which means the market will be flooded after the patch.
This might be ok as a long term investment, like in a years time when the cheap copies have been bought up but as a quick ISK turner ... not a chance.

Graviton Physics is only available from agent missions. That said, it's not -that- rare and the prices people are paying are stupid. I did a lot of agent missions once, and I checked my hangar in Empire, and, yes, five of these books...

NPC market dosnt have buy order for BPOs, you would have to sell them to player markets.
And since there wil be hundreds of people selling it, price will no doubt drop to a level you wont make much profit.
In this case, the only reason anyone would buy the BPO from NPC market is they are extremly rich and cant be bothered to travel a few jumps.

It may have been NPC sold at some point. I don't know if it was. I believe it's research agents that give them now - and I don't yet know what the requirements to get such an offer is. However, if you do know for a fact that Graviton Physics is sold by NPCs at some location or other, please evemail me. Because I don't enjoy being exploited by players that knew it was going to be a pre-req skill for the Tractor Beams before they were released. (note to self, spend more time on Sisi test server to learn about future exploitable market products).

Yes. With 2-3 tractor beams, the looting time drops to 1/3 of normal. Should a tractor beam with longer range (say 100km) come into play, it would be great.
And yes, I already own the BPO.

I am not going to buy any. Because unless NPCs start buying them in bulk after the patch (which wontnt happen) it hardly is worth the effort. There are dozens of better ways to make money, I dont feel like stockpiling 100 BPOs that have little demand for years.

You got to laugh - in Lonetrek alone, around 11,000 Small Tractor Beam BPOs have been sold in the last 48 hours.
Compared with 600 odd bought between the launch of RMR and now, which arguably covered all the demand for the BPO in existence up to that point.
And on top of the nearly billion isk removed from the players already due to this, all of the sell order agent fees as people jostle to try and make any money from the whole deal will take even more out of the economy.
