Edited by: Alaris on 10/01/2006 14:08:00 Edited by: Alaris on 10/01/2006 14:07:17 Another retarded law from my home senator... this guy is not getting my vote when he's up again. Bets on how long this lasts before its declared unconstitution for being really vague (Annoying? For who?)? That is unless Bush continues to stack the supreme court in his favor. At this rate it seems he's trying to pick right up where Orin Hatch was when he left the post Specter now holds...

In my country if someone see you smoking anywhere other than your own house or a pub that has allowed doing so,they can sue you,if they feel like doing so.

Actually, since Bush's picks have all been described as fairly strict Constitutional constructionists it would follow that they would probably be first to try and strike it down (as a clear first amendment violation). TBH though I doubt it will ever come to trial as it will not be enforced--the US goverments (particularly state and local) have a bad habit of churning out thousands of dumbastic laws to appease someone or other (ex. there is a law somewhere that says you cant carry ice cream in your pocket on sunday), and only get used as a political threat to someone the locals dont like. _________________ [SAK] Alumnus--And Proud Of It! -- aka Cpt Bogus Is that my torped sig cloaking your base?
