Launch one, and for 4 minutes nobody is warping anywhere inside of it's 20km radius (40km diameter). --

Can you target it? Can you warp through it? And if so does it stop people in midwarp (between gates)?

You cant target scan probes can you? so theres the answer to that, warp bubbles you can warp through if you warp before you hit them and as for pulling you out between gates i doubt it as they are just easier to use uber warp bubbles.

If you (S) warp into an object A in the same grid with a Warp Disrupt Probe at point C (see poorly made ASCII **** below), will ship S get pulled out of warp at C or at A (A is the intended place where you should come out if no probe interaction). Each - is 5km. Or something.
S -----C-----A--- (situation can be illustrated as one dimensional)
I.e. does the probes work the same way as Mobile Warp Disruptors do?

So its like a more mobile, mobile warp disruptor, but it has a timer... interesting stuff

Are they static, or do they move?

How do they launch, are they just dropped wherever your ship is or can you specify where to deploy them to?

Gunstar Zero: No, they don't move.
Koro Kar'Amarr: The same as scan probes. Activate launcher and they appear next to your ship. And before someone asks, yes, they also scramble the person that launched it. --

do you have to use an interdictor to launch these??
or can you use a normal probe launcher?

You have to use a Interdiction Sphere Launcher I which needs 10,000 CPU base to fit it, when you fit to an Interdictor it only needs 100 CPU though. --

Can you freely use it in empire? Cause if you use it at gate you will scramble sentrys and concord = WTFPWNED. Am i right? - ------------------------------------------- Helios enterprises is recruiting. 0% tax, 100% fun. |

There is a flag in the show info: DISALLOWINEMPIRESPACE 1, so I'd say you can't launch them in empire, but I haven't tried it. --

These things are ideal for gate camping.
When you see someone jump in, you launch it right on the gate, so no matter where they appear, they are in scramble range.
Add a few BS snipers, and it's pure pwnage
Also great for pod killing

can they be launched right after decloaking or does the sensor recalibration delay apply like it does to offensive mods that dont require lock (eg smartbombs) ?

In fleets they wll be prmary for support, and they scramble themselves when they launch .. ouchie :p
edit: and they are paper thin and expensive too

Im a bit concerned with interdictors, fightiers folloing to safespot & titan domes day devices, ccp had been trying to improve surviving gank & now heading for all new super gank stuff.
Im very good at staying alive with the tools we been given but the furture looks bleek I think even for the best pilots & I think my BMs will double or tripple with the relese of inters. _______________________________________

Aye. Once I know an enemy force has them, I will need a BM in scan range and in-line to every gate.
Warning: above post may contain traces of sarcasm. "Corpse cannot be fitted onto ship. Only hardware modules can be fitted." |

Heh interdictores would be fun in fleets.
"Officer drop spheres... now!" "Spheres dropped comander" "Good... now our task is complete, turn us around and lets warp out" "Sir, we cant" "Oh **** yes..." "Sir were being called primary" "EEEEEeeeeep!" "boom!"

hmm a slight note may be on how visable they are. that look's like a effect you could very simply overlook in battle. maybe it should be more like the highly visable effect warp bubbles have.
