I've been sniping unwary frigs with a sniper harpy, 103k (i think, its 103-106, somewhere round their) can get wreckings of like 130ish with a rof of about 3.6 secs, kills all known frigs dead, and fast :)
4 volleys, maybe 5 with crap hits and any inty or tech I frig is dead, havnt fully tested on an AF but on a Ishkur which has resistences to counter my damage think it took 4 volleys to drop it shields.
Greatest thing is realy most intys think "ooooh a lone harpy, wonder if I can get in range before he warps off" if this happens they die quite a quick death :)
Obviously you need a tackler most of the time due to people warping off, but that wasnt the topic, but in fleet its great for sniping enemy frigs that are mixed in with the enemy fleet before they know whats going on :)

Edited by: *****farmer on 25/01/2006 15:40:28 I use spike S, tracking enhancers and a couple of tracking computers. Also 150mm t2. AF IV helps alot.

Isn't there some kind of artificial limit on locking range ? I'm sure I heard Alasse muttering the otherday about how he'd managed an Eagle setup where he couldn't lock at optimal, no matter how many sensor boosters he used. ....

255km, I believe, not 249. This may have changed since I tested it a year ago tho.
