So these are carried by Carriers but who builds them and where are the blueprints?

Umm... they are carried by carriers, and carriers only.
Try searching the market, maybe in gallente space for bpos.

a single figher takes up 5000m3 of drone space, so only carriers are able to fit them.

The market is pretty devoid of these things.
What you will find is that most of the carrier builders carry the prints and will sell to somebody asking.
List is pretty endless on those, but the icsc would be a good place to start looking. ______
It started so easy, do you want to carry on.

I picked up the dragonfly and the firbolg BPO's just two days ago. They're currently in the lab.
They are about 200 million each on the npc market. I understand that the marketplace for them is going to be limited due to the small number (relatively) of people being able to use carriers, however, those people are going to go through a LOT of them :)

which is why I not only bought the carrier bpo to build my own but also my own fighter bpo's so i can build replacements as cheap as possible. Rather expensive little fighters.

No because you can still only control 5 unless you have drone control mods, the dev's already thought of this issue :)

A carrier can spit out a maximum of 15 of these little beasties. 5 by default, +1 per skill lvl in carrier and a maximum of 5 more with the drone control mods should they be reseeded along with the advanced drone control skill in the future.

Eventually, the Motherships will be making these things on-board with factory modules. I imagine demand for fighters dropping to 0, then :)

15 max fighters for a carrier with max skills. This has been said before, but it seems to me that it should be 20.
If you look at the description for Advanced Drone Interfacing, it says +1 drone per level of skill.
The Drone Control Module is +1 per active module. (and, wtf, is it an active module with activation cost and duration anyway)
If you get 5 from your lower skills, 5 from carrier skills, mount 5 modules and have advanced drone interfacing 5, that's 20.

We build them if you need any. You'll also find them on the market in the Forge region (we usually put a few on the market each week). Blueprints are there if you check the market but you'll have to go to different regions to get the different types of fighter bpo's (f.ex you wont find a Dragonfly blueprint anywhere other than Caldari space).
