I remember SoundWave at the AT last year, where he wasn't even there and they created a SoundCloud specifically for his words so they could "pretend" he's still there, announcing matches.
That was funny. ^_^ |

Actually, my favourite moment was in the first Little Things thread. (i think)
That was in the time when i was actively bounty hunting in an interceptor, before the new bounty mechanics.
I asked him to make pods with GCC legal targets, because it doesn't make any sense that they weren't ...
... and his response was simply:
I'll bring this to the game ! DEATH TO ALL PODS >:D
So you can thank me for that, i guess ... xD |

Gun Mining hurt mineral prices, as well as afk/bot mining, which as a whole hurts relative income for miners. Although *you* might believe that low prices are a good thing, they aren't. It doesn't matter and this thread isn't about your opinion. I have reported your and my post for removal. Good day.
Ahhh, yeah, blame it on bot mining. Guess it's true, some people will believe whatever is told them, especially when those facts can't be verified by an independent 3rd party.
Also I didn't come up with the term 'Passive Income'. Someone else did that.
Report? Good idea, think I'll report this thread for being in the wrong sub forum. It should have been posted in OOPE since it doesn't pertain to Eve due to Soundwave no longer working for CCP. Not to mention there's a lot of other 'I Miss Soundwave' threads available for you to post in.

Oveur was Nathan Richardson, he played Techno Viking in the HTFU video. I really loved his passion, relaxed and fun (drunk) attitude at the first fanfest I attended. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDTmrbHqlhk (flying the beership, and the fanfest I spoke about)
I know T0rfi is still with CCP but I miss seeing him do videos about EVE, he was really the guy who would speak about the dark harsh world of EVE and the way they wanted to immerse us in it and have me falling in love. He seems to be the developer who had the views of the world and game which I wanted, him stepping away towards other parts of the company is a shame (although I did spy him in some of the lore panels at this years fanfest)/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DBVH6IVxas (best accent ever!)
I also had a soft spot for Screegs, he did some great presentations and his humour was great. "Boom! Fat joke!" Lieutenant Turelus

Guess you guys are now gonna have to find someone else to turn Eve Online into Grief Online.
I'm glad Soundwave & Co. got kicked from CCP. That's the best expansion this game has had in the past 5 years. Obviously it doesn't bode well for griefers and gankers which is clearly demonstrated in this and all the other tear stained 'I Miss Soundwave' threads.

What do you mean, "rejoined"?

Think about it for a minute. If you had to actively work for the game you've played, you will simply lose interest in playing it. Not saying that this applies to everybody and not saying that developers wouldn't play EvE for recreational purposes too ... ... but have you seen his circumorbital rings in some of the videos ?
By the looks he had sometimes, i seriously doubt he wanted to touch the game in his spare time. |

Good day fine sir,
You appear to be implying that a man would willfully jeopardize his breadwinning salary in order to secretly operate within a certain player organisation within a computer game. You are also probably implying that this man would give himself or his friends undue advantages. In a game.

Burn the heathen!!!
CCP Soundwave was one of the few Devs I actually liked in the last few years.
He did not come off like he was better and somehow superior like a lot of the Devs do.
IDK maybe he just understood that if you **** enough customers off, then you are a superior unemployed Dev because there is no budget to employ you any more. Any spelling and grammatical errors are because frankly, I don't care!! |
