So, one thing I'm afraid of with the new refocus on ships, is that all progress will end on Incarna. At this point, the work put into it is already done, and I feel to abandon it now would make the whole issue pointless. No one at the moment bothers with the CQ because there isn't anything to do in it. I feel this would change greatly when/if it is expanded on. However, if it is left to rot, I think it will just become another CCP legend of half-assed ideas that were never fully implemented correctly.
I know there are more things coming, different clothing styles are listed in the marketplace but aren't yet in the Aurum store (I forgot what the name is). So, It can't be THAT hard to recolor a few basic clothing items to expand the selection. Unless CCP is planning on doing a seasonal thing like actual fashion...that would be weird though.
Regardless, I for one love the CQ, and just don't want to see all this amazing progress on it abandoned because a few goons and vocal people bitched about spaceships.
Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited about the winter expansion (can we get a name for it yet?), but I'd also like to see CCP finish something they put a lot of time and effort into, to make it a truely great experience.
And side note, yes, I do just want to show off my fancy clothes. |

They have been put on the backburner for now. Once CCP satiates the idiots of New Eden with some new ships and 'stuffz' they will continue working on Incarna, although probably at a slower pace.
I expect they wont bring it out in rolling expansions since they only get flamed by the player base for implementing things that they cant 'haz awsum tieme Emediatlay'.
Maybe next summer we will see a full fledged Incarna with station interiors. |

CCP don't plan to abandon it, but honestly, it's an addition that bring nothing to the core game, so IMO it shouldn't be a top priority either. It shouldn't be abandoned too, either.
No game can appeal to every player, compromise must be made. Those who seek primarily to show their character and socialize have games tailored for them. |

Given the massive pile of FiS things on the back-burner I think Incarna can handle some time there while they work to fix FiS, perhaps in an expansion or two iterating upon Incarna would be worthy of focus. |

EVE's universe goes way beyond a ship in space. Many of the great stories of EVE center around a character and his relationships. I am talking about in game by the way.
I see nothing negative about expanding the universe to include avatars that aren't mechanical.
That doesnt mean that I think the focus should be only on avatar related places/things, it just means that it would be a welcomed addition to a very rich game that covers many aspects of sci fi. |

Just give us one simple emty room for us to meet for now.Or else CQ will stay forever there as a memorial of the disgrace that CCp and Eve suffered.I can already see a new guy asking;
-Whats the use of the CQ?I cant do ANYTHING there!

With the way technology is going and with mobile devices having access to fast Internet , maybe they can move the rest of incarna to the phone. use CQ to transfer goods to and from FiS. |

And have everyone **** and moan about a half released thing? Isnt that what it is now? CCP is satiating the mass idiots for now by introducing some new ships, modules, and such. They are buffing things, etc to get these morons back on track so they can continue with their WoD test (Incarna).
Its coming - they just need to give hay to the herd. |
