There are already frigates called "Stealth Bombers" IE, Hound - Manticore that use CRUISE missiles, So the next logical step is a cruiser that can fire torpedos. *If you're not flying with Hippies, you're not having FUN.*

Complaining that it breaks some imaginary boundry is ridiculous. As someone else stated I would love to see 1400's on a frigate for the same reasons, makes me think of the small cruisers in Homeworld that fired ion cannon beams. As the same why couldn't a frigate strap a fighter to the top of it like a 747 and the space shuttle to bring it into battle? In war he who would play fair, won't be going home. As an aside, a Stealth Cruiser or Destroyer with Torpedo mounts would be the next step. Rather than a "Stealth Bomber", it'd be a "Submarine". Honestly, I think the Destroyer is the proper platform for such a ship, though. A cruiser is a bit much...
