Bummed out that you missed out on the festivities from FanFest 2005? Did you make it to the FanFest, but had to skip out on one of the workshops? Or was there some special event that you wanted to relive?
If you answered 'Yes' to any of the previous questions, then head on over to the FanFest 2005 Videos page. Unfortunately, some of the videos are of lesser quality but the content is still present.
Not all of the roundtable chats are available. More videos will be added in the future as we clean them up for playback.

With regards to the PVP Tournament Videos:
Surprised Shin Ra (guy on the left PC), wasn't packing warp core stabs
I (the guy on the right/closest to the Camera) made a couple of mistakes, one of them being not to close him down when I had the chance (got a successful jam in the Caracal vs. Caracal fights, and continued to move away), but a few people have rubbed that in - that was down to inexperience in flying a Caracal for 2 years (in the warmup rounds I used an Arbitrator to much success).
This was the fight that almost got me invited into BDCI , however - because I lost, I had to apply .
Was a great tournament, can't wait for next year's.
P.S. Rules were "no warping away from the combat area", halfway through the fight (where the server died), I warped back to the beacon (seeing how I was ~163km away or so). Should have heard Shin Ra cry like a girl! (: lighthearted poke at Shin Ra :)

Your still the only person to ever beat me in a 1v1. If only I never wore those stabs
That caracal vs caracal fight was pretty good tho.
Maybe I should prepare a better speech for next year.

I found Redundancy's fleet battle presentation quite interesting. I wonder how many of the optimisations he talked about went live with RMR, and if there are more changes to look forward to in Kali? I'd definitely like to see big battles running as smoothly as that demo!

One thing you have to remember is that demo was running only on a client (which took a bit of magic and a few sacrifices to various code gods) with no UI, although it was an incomplete version of what we put into RMR. I'll continue to look at issues that pop up, and I'm hoping that the new servers will help us see where the problems are without getting hung up on the server and proxy lag.

Right, so there's some more potential changes on the way in this area - new hardware, more optimisations...it's all good!

The videos were taken mostly for internal use, the videos filmed by the professional crew were unusable.

OMG, OMG!
search.eve-online.com actually works now!!!
Why didn't anyone tell us when this went live? Why is it still not accessible from any web page, but only directly from its URL? And why does it consider multiple results from the forums redundant (even if they are from different threads), and hides them? _____________________________________________________________________ Thar be Pirates

To Shin Ra
I thought that your bad attitude was just ingame and things. But i noticed two things.
1, Not once did you offer to shake the other guys hand witha good fight jesture.
2, You insulted the audience calling them nubs
3, You sat there arragont and foolhardy
I really hope you change, because if the other guy had been me, i most likeley would have leaned over and slapped u.
Try to be a bit more sportsman like next time er?

Actually - we shook hands and had a chat after the video ends - it was late in the day, both of us had been in the Data Center for ~8 hours and were both fairly tired. The whole event was in good spirit, and everybody, even the audience, had a laugh both at him and with him. Please don't spoil a perfectly good thread with trolls.
