Hi.
There is a fix now for the in-game browser re-sizing issue which was causing crashes. |

Regarding SLI setup with DX11:
We have not been able to recreate crashes on our SLI setup. But it does seem that SLI is not active when running with the default setup.
We had to go into the Nvidia control panel->Manage 3D settings and choose the "Program Settings" tab. Under the "SLI Rendering Mode" feature, changing the setting to "Force alternate frame rendering 1" did the trick for us, and SLI is active on DX11. |

Ive got the newest driver from nvidia 331.38 from the 19th. I set the force alt frame rnd 1 and it didnt help what so ever in fact it crashed faster than before. Hi. Just to be sure: You state you are using the newest driver 331.38. But is not the latest driver for the GTX590 331.82? |

I meant to type 331.82 being that there is no such driver 331.38. Some beta drivers just came out today gonna give them a shot. However with sli disabled and putting the game in dx9 has work for 8 hrs without issue.
Ok, thanks. Just wanted to be sure. I would really like to hear the results of your tests with the beta-driver, when you have the time to try it out. |

We have a couple of fixes in today's patch that we hope will address some of these driver crashes. I'd love to hear your feedback, both good and bad, after today's downtime. |

I'd love to hear your feedback, both good and bad, after today's downtime. Here's an update from me. I ran dx9 fine for a good 1,5 day and today after downtime i changed back to dx11 to test the fixes and I have already had 2 or 3 display driver crashes. --ET Well, that sucks :( Guess I'll keep at it, then!
Do you notice any pattern to this? Anything in particular you were doing that triggers this? If you can spare the time to run under DX11 with LogServer to capture some info for me, I'd be most grateful. Don't do anything risky though, stick with DX9 for real gameplay for now.

Everlast Darkheart wrote:I managed to capture two crashes from the in-game monitor (unfortunately not with log server running) however I'd like to upload the data. Problem now is that the report bug site is throwing me 500 errors when I try to upload - Will try a bit later :).
--ET Apparently there is a size limit on attached files. If it still fails later, maybe you can send me a link in EVE mail to a Google Drive share or something similar. You could also try zipping the files before attaching. |

Tazarak theDeceiver wrote:GTX580 here with 331.82 drivers.
After Rubicon I had to set Eve to DX9 or the video driver kept crashing causing Eve to stop responding.
After an update this week the DX9 bandaid no longer works either.
I have tried the Beta 331.93 drivers and rolled-back to 331.65 drivers.
Eve's unplayable right now.
If anyone could give me details about how to report the error logs, I'd be glad to contribute. This is frustrating - I personally have a GTX 580 in my machine at work - I need to double-check the driver version but I think it's the same. I just don't get these crashes.
See https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Bug_reporting and https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Logserver for info on reporting bugs. Please include details on what you were doing at the time, what windows you have open, etc. |

0ffi wrote:I was running EVE for a few days on my HDD and I hadn't have any issue at all. Now I re-installed it on my SSD and I ran an update to the latest nvidia driver. I started playing today and during the first fight i noticed, that there weren't any weapon sounds at all (although the music and alarms where there). Luckily, I got back to the station and then I had the blue screen as well.
I don't know if it might be related to the game being installed on an SSD? I'm playing many different games and don't have any video issue at all. It seems that it is definitely related to the game. Can you try going back to the version of the driver you had previously?
It's unlikely the SSD has anything to do with this, although it does change timings of asset loading so I guess anything is possible.
Anyway, more details might help us track this down - hardware specs, driver versions, etc.
